Riding The Wave: A Blueprint For The Rebelution
If I have done my job even partially well you should be asking, “What are we supposed to do?” While I’ve given you some ideas (see What I’m NOT Saying, And What I Am) I’ve focused more on painting a picture of the coming wave than I have on telling you how to ride it. That’s all going change, starting this week.
We’re about to embark on a new series, focusing on three necessary components of a successful Rebelution: character, competence, and collaboration. The special challenges facing our generation will be met if we each establish the character, the competence, and the collaboration that allow us to not only face the coming wave, but to ride it; for the good of our country and the glory of God.
The Cry For Christian CHARACTER
What kind of young man or young woman impacts the world for Christ? What special challenges does the 21st century present to our generation as we attempt to pursue righteousness and holiness? What special precautions must we make to ensure that we don’t win the world and lose our souls? What are the character qualities of a rebelutionary?
The Cry For Christian COMPETENCE
Over the last several generations we’ve seen the standard for Christian success (whether it be in the film industry, music industry, business world, etc.) lowered until now we are “thrilled” when a Christian artist or business succeeds in being “just as good” as anything else you’ll find in the marketplace. Ever watched a Christian movie? Read a Christian novel? Do you really expect it to be better than everything else out there? Or do you just hope it doesn’t disappoint you too badly? How should our generation respond to the Christian community’s general lack of competence? And what can we do to raise the bar, returning Christian excellence to preeminence without sacrificing Christian character?
The Cry For Christian COLLABORATION
Learn how technology allows Christians with character and competence to join forces with other Christians who possess the same qualities. By getting on the cutting edge of collaborative technology we can unleash the full potential of our generation. We’ll see how technology allows smalls groups of competent Christians to set in motion huge reforms by working together, acting as one, and working for One. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

We won’t talk much fantasy football in my first blog because I actually have to go participate in a mock draft with the PFW staff in a few minutes.
Very useful information. Thanks. Check my christian t-shirt logos site out. Useful christian t-shirt logos info is available.
Could be useful info for you.

Update: I had the chance to see read the letters (the one from Richard as well as the reply from Dr. Bearden) and enjoyed it immensely. It is a wondeful exampe of a young person taking a genuine interest in learning and the future of his generation.
Also, I got to view the Christian t-shirts logo site and LOVED ‘The Puzzle of Life” t-shirt. Thanks for sharing it with me.
