I really like your answers, Brett. I’ve noticed that beauty pageants do not often help insecure people. Not many women in this world are as beautiful as Miss Universe, and idolizing her only makes girls more insecure. If being gorgeous is the way to be heard, then it should not surprise anyone when girls spend countless hours agonizing over their hair, face, and body. Not only does the outcome fall short of their “heroes,” but in the process more important areas of their lives can be neglected. I don’t know about other girls, but comparing myself to actresses has never helped boost my self-esteem. =)

...but not all of us live up to society\'s standards of beauty.

I\'m curious, who said you have to be skinny to be beautiful? Some skinny person?

Who said you have to have the perfect tan to beautiful? Someone who tans well?

Who said you have to look just like so-and-so to be beautiful? If that were true, God would have made everyone to look like so-and-so.

Just some thoughts.
