Whoa.
That hurts. David memorized far more scripture than I have, and still was able to do what he did.
*sigh*
I don’t understand this. My brain cannot comprehend what has happened. It just refuses to register.

Wow. I’m reminded of Saul of the Old Testament, and of a quote from my pastor. “Past obedience (or godliness) is not a promise of future obedience.” Just because we’re following Him now doesn’t mean we will tomorrow or next week or next year or ten years from now. How to prevent that? I think pressing into the Lord and staying close to Him 24/7 is the only way!
Lord, please work in David Ludwig’s heart, and bring him back to you. Amen.

Agreed, Hannah. St Paul was constantly warning the churches about the dangers of apostasy. That stuff is in the Bible for a reason!
