"The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain." (2 Samuel 23:3-4)

In better times, a man with the integrity of Justice Parker would be our Commander in Chief. Nevertheless, it does Alabama an incredible honor to have Tom Parker as its Justice on the Supreme Court. Congratulations, Justice Parker. You've certainly earned this award.

In answer to your old post "whom do you admire?"... I would have to say that I greatly admire Heather Whitestone McCallum; Miss America 1998, ballerina, first deaf Miss America, and a devoted Christian. I have read her book, and she has become a wonderful role model for me. While I don't often find very godly role models in our beauty pageants today, I have to admire Heather and her dedication to her God and the talents He has given her.

I have also read recently of several home schooled ladies that won such titles as Miss California and Miss Alaska. It's so nice to hear of ladies that can express their beauty in a godly way, even in a society that really only promotes "sexual beauty".
