Out of curiosity, how many people will be attending in Sacramento?
February 27th, 2006 at 3:32 am
Brian: The facility is only supposed to hold 400 people, but we’ve brought chairs in from all over the building in order to fit more. We’re sold out at 475.

Wow! that’s incredible! You guys are sold out already!
Out of curiosity, how many cities are you hitting?
February 27th, 2006 at 3:49 am
Orlando is, alternatively, 1 1/2 hours from the great City of Tampa. Better than a 15 minutes flight with four hours of security on either end.
Hope to be at the Orlando conference!

Sold out! Wow!
February 27th, 2006 at 12:40 pm
Yay you’re sold out!!
Alex, were you being sarcastic about Orlando being one of the least expensive cities in the country to fly into?
Hope to be at the Orlando conference too…

Kaitlin: Of course not, Kaitlin! We were merely hinting that, since we probably won’t be doing a “full-blown” tour until next year, Orlando will be the best time for people to come, even if they don’t live in Florida.

Wow! That’s actually quite incredible! I wish I lived in the States… Experiencing quite a lot of isolation here in South Africa as a Reformed Baptist… lol :P. But it’s all good. I have rest for my soul in Christ
Just as a matter of interest - what graphics editing app do you guys use?
February 27th, 2006 at 6:16 pm
Got it Alex! I was just wondering because I’m flying out of Orlando on Wednesday and I guessed that everything would cost the same as Tampa–too much!
David, you live in South Africa?!?!! Unbelievable! I just found a South African Blogging Buddy! Yippee!

David: We use Adobe Photoshop.

Kaitlin: As a clarification, Orlando is one of the cheapest cities in the country to fly into. The reason is that because there are so many attractions and so many people go there, the airlines have to be very competitive to have the lowest fares. The same is true of Las Vegas, even though I’ve never been there.
February 27th, 2006 at 7:57 pm
That’s a pretty good idea! Why don’t you make the next stop be Las Vegas? I’m sure the city could use some rebelutionising.

Hope to be there guys ;-D. Sounds like the Sacramento conference is going to be great! God bless you guys while you’re there.

Hi Kaitlin! I remember reading a blog a while ago in which the person was from SA. At the time, I was at a low point spiritually, so didn’t really care that much. But it’s great to have finally found out who it is!
Surprisingly, I’ve actually just started my own website - with a blog included! My schedule is earth-shatteringly packed since I’m studying Chiropractic (near Ponte tower in Johannesburg - near the Johannesburg stadium!! You know that area?). So, the blog entries won’t be all that regular - probably only twice a week at max. Anyway, it will kinda be an evangelistic outreach (initially) to my friends at varsity - although I don’t know if many/any will read it since all except 1 are in darkness. I’ll be sure to check back at your blog
:) :). The SA culture runs very deep! Ons het dieselfde bloed! haha… no - I’m not Afrikaans.
Alex, thanks! I do pray that your Tour will go excellently, and that it may be as culture-shattering as you and your bro are already! Keep helping us SHATTER the remnants of our sinful nature through your writings. As our Lord says through Paul, “Do everything without complaining or arguing [...] in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life” (Phil. 2:14-16)
(Yes, my favourite word is SHATTER! :))

Do you have any details on the Orlando visit yet?
February 27th, 2006 at 10:20 pm
Pat: We’ll be announcing details as we have them! God bless!

Hey Boys!! Very proud of you guys:-) I’ll be praying for the tour!!! God bless you as only He can - Heidi
