Fight for the Gospel
UPDATE: This morning (9/20) the video is: #25 - Top Rated (Today) - People / #34 - Most Viewed (Today) - People / #93 - Top Favorites (Today) / #2 - Top Favorites (Today) - People / #90 - Top Favorites (This Week) - People.
This means that it’s beginning to get visibility because of how many people have “Favorited” it on YouTube. If any of you have rated it but not favorited it, we would encourage you to do so.
Since being posted this morning, “Stop And Think,” the evangelistic video below, reached #2 Top Rated Video on YouTube (Today). This means that a solid gospel presentation is getting visibility on the world’s largest video sharing website.
However, since then angry non-believers have been giving it very negative ratings in an attempt to bump its visibility down. They have succeeded in knocking it all the way down to #52 (as of this post).
We would greatly encourage all of our readers to go and rate the video with five stars, favorite it, and encourage others to do the same through email and/or by blogging the video. Thank you for your help.

I just saw the article in WORLD magazine about y’all (after it was finally my turn to get the magazine.haha). That is really exciting to see how far the Rebelution has come in a short time.

wow there are some really angry people out there….reminds me of a verse I read earlier in Timothy, that anyone who truly lives all out for Jesus should expect persecution. So I’m not surprised that there is much opposition to this message - the truth often does offend people. But I would encourage us all to keep praying for all those who will see this video. Something I found in leading Alpha courses (an evangelistic “intro to Christianity” course, for those unfamiliar with it) is that those who were initially the most hostile to the gospel were often the ones who later committed themselves to following Jesus with the most passion. In some ways I think an angry response to the truth is better than no response at all - what do you reckon?

Alyssa: Yes, you do have to sign up to rate the video. We don’t recommend that you frequent YouTube, but for the sake of boosting the visibility of this video (and future Rebelution Videos) we’d appreciate it if you created an account. Also, make sure you save the video to your “Favorites” and then subscribe to TheRebelution’s video channel. All the links to do that should be right there.

wow…even though i’m not registered to YouTube, i definetely give this video a 5-star rating. That guy did a great job of bringing forth the gospel - thanks for letting us see it!
