Exclusive Premiere: Teaser Trailer of Men O’ War
We are very excited to premiere a teaser trailer of the epic, four-minute short, Men O’ War, a 3D-animated film created by the Botkin family for the second annual Christian Filmmaker’s Academy.
Written, storyboarded, modeled, animated, and scored entirely by the Botkin siblings, this film is not only very entertaining, but it’s also an inspiring example of a Christian family working together on a project.
The film will be playing at the Film Festival later this week and we will be announcing the online release of the complete film when it goes up. For now, enjoy the teaser trailer. You’ll never look at LEGOs the same way again.

Wow, I didn’t realize you could make a movie using legos!! That was really cool!
Oh, by the way I am getting better, I repented this evening during family worship of my coventing those who are attending the film festival after my parents explained that I was not excepting God’s Will and therefore having a rebellious spirit.
Thanks guys for sharing your experience!

How much does that software cost. What kind of program, anyway?

Now, I have two questions about that: one, is it legal to use “Lego” characters and “peices” or did they get permission from Lego?
Secondly, I’m also wondering what software they used — I attempted to download Blender, but my Mac’s graphic card couln’t handle it, or at least it seemed to be that way. Is that supposed to happen on an iBook? Has anyone else had that issue?

Sound - Adobe Audition
Compositing - Adobe After Effects

Tim, it really depend on how old the ibook is, I have Blender on my 5 year old eMac (bottom line), and it runs fine, if it newish ( 1-6 years old) I don’t see why it would have a problem, however make sure you download the reliable version not the newest beta version.

I can’t seem to view the video, and I was wondering if I was the only one? If I am, could you email it to me?
