NEWS FLASH: Over 50 Rebelutionaries Gather in Louisville
Louisville, KY — It has been reported that over 50 members of the Rebelution — a worldwide movement of Christian young people rebelling against what they call “low expectations” — gathered in Room 115 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville on Monday night. It is also rumored that Alex and Brett Harris shared previously undisclosed details about their conference and upcoming book.
Our reporters are working hard to confirm these details and to identify other key members of the Rebelution present at the gathering. More photos to come.

Wishing I was there…

Okay, we figured out where Kristin is. But what we can’t figure out is which one is Alex and which one is Brett? (Maybe one of you boys can visit your Josh’s barber and make it a whole lot easier on all of us!)

Sorry for the typo, it should read your brother Joshu’s barber.
(I miss my internet editor!)

I echo Andrew. *sigh*

That’s a great group picture; I look forward to more.
Methinks that is Alex next to Kristin, but I agree with Mrs. Braun–it’s hard to tell!

Yes, for all of us who can’t be there — thank you for the frequent and faithful updates!!
May 28th, 2007 at 10:25 pm
Yeah, I agree with Spunky. I mean, I already have a lot of trouble remembering names to begin with, (I’d forget my own if people weren’t calling me by it all the time) so I really have to focus on faces. But you guys are twins, soooo…
It *pleasantly* surprised me how many people are in the photo! It’s encouraging.

Thanks y’all for all these updates, its been intresting to see, maybe I’ll be there next year!

For those of you who can’t tell which twin is where in the picture, Alex is on the left and Brett on the right. I hope that helps. God bless you all!

I suggest that Alex is on the left and Brett is on the right. Note the difference in eyebrows. Not to ruin the amusing ambiguity of identity, but Brett’s eyebrows are considerably lower than Alex’s. So, unless one of them was frowning (which wouldn’t seem likely at such a meeting), Brett is on the right.
I have several friends who are twins and have learned to tell the difference.

Guys, there is no question. You can tell by their facial expressions, the way they hold themselves and, yes, that awesome hat-like coving that Brett is wearing. Alex is in the striped shirt on the left and Brett’s on the right with the blue polo.
Maybe it’s a twin thing, but still…!

Wish I had been there! What a fantastic showing!

This is making school seem even more miserable by comparison
. Oh well. I wish I could have been there! I still love that hat :).
May 29th, 2007 at 5:26 pm
YEAH! I can’t wait till I’m able to go!!!
he he!
My youth pastor and some of my youth group are in that picture!
I can’t believe all that God has done it’s amazing!!! Thank you Lord for the Na Conference! God bless!!!!!

Now, it seems, we are all divided into two groups: those who were at the meeting and loved it, and those who wish they could have been there and loved it!
What a blessing that so many of you could meet together and encourage each other in the Lord. Looking forward to hearing more and seeing more pictures…hopefully they won’t require such detailed study of our beloved twins!

Twin sorting, yesss…..there are those who can discern the slightest details and remember which goes with whom. I’ve found them both to be very gracious to quickly untangle confusion. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the time they were in a play…they played one character the first half, then swapped for the second half. Next night, they did the same thing, only in reverse. Thus, each had acted each part for an entire performance, but each time they were split who did which. Reviewing the video after, it was impossible to tell who did which when…….or, did they really switch at all? As to one of them getting a “Josh” hairdo….come on, now, that would spoil ALL the fun……
May 30th, 2007 at 7:48 pm
Well…they may be twins, but they aren’t actually that hard to tell apart - at least in person. I agree with Lydia - their eyebrows are a bit different. And they do smile a bit differently. (And I’ve noticed that Brett seems to usually wear his hair back from his face, and Alex usually has bangs of some sort - for future reference.) Anyway, I was there in that photo, and I can tell you with 100% assurance that Alex is in the striped shirt, and Brett is wearing the awesome hat.

Fortunately, Alex and Brett wear their hair differently now, so it’s not hard to tell them apart (as Tai Sophia mentioned before, Alex has bangs, and Brett doesn’t), but I saw a picture of them a year ago, in a homeschooling magazine, and they had their hair EXACTLY the same! I couldn’t tell who was who. I probably could not now, except that at the conference I saw them both all day, so their facial expressions are a bit of a clue for me
