Urgent Request: Pray for Heidi
Many of you remember Heidi M. of A Blessed Servant — a dear sister in Christ and former Honor Roll Member on the Forum. Heidi has long suffered from very serious illness, inspiring all of us by her steadfast trust and faith in Christ. In March she was forced to withdraw from all Internet use. This afternoon and evening Alex Poythress received two urgent voicemail messages from her — the first asking for prayer, the second informing him that her family had called the paramedics.
For those who are unfamiliar with Heidi’s condition, it is extremely dangerous for her to interact with the paramedics, hospital, or any emergency personnel. For her family to call the paramedics is a very, very big deal… Perhaps, a last resort. Please join us in praying for God’s mercy and protection. Updates to come.
UPDATE: Heidi is now in the hospital, improving, but not yet stabilized. It is still unclear what exactly is wrong. Keep praying.
UPDATE #2: Heidi went home last night. They believe the primary problem was that she was dehydrated. Please continue to pray for Heidi’s health in the weeks and months ahead.

Oh wow. I will be praying. I worked at a clinic that treated people with environmental sensitivities so I know how debilitating they can be.
