NEWS FLASH: Rebelution Leaders Meet in Denver

Friday Meeting

Denver, CO — A meeting in Denver this past Friday between key leaders of the Rebelution — a worldwide movement of Christian young people rebelling against what they call “low expectations” — has now been confirmed.

Photographs show teen leaders Alex and Brett Harris, modern-day abolitionist and author Zach Hunter, along with members of the Dry Tears campaign. Key family and team members were also reported as present.

The meeting is rumored to have taken place in a home in the suburbs of Denver, with topics including “vision and strategy,” “future plans,” and the importance of “character, competence, and collaboration.”

The following day, the young men came together again, joining 500+ rebelutionary teens and parents from across the country at Colorado Community Church in Denver for the second stop in the 2007 Rebelution Tour.

“You have to be seriously concerned,” says long-time Rebelution watcher, Wurld Lee Kulture. “These guys are already doing things that turn our low expectations for teens on their head. If they’re working together, that just makes things so much harder for me.”

“The Rebelution conferences aren’t helping,” he added. “More teens are getting introduced to this idea of rebelling against low expectations and doing hard things. Worse, they’re being equipped to start living it out. It’s a nightmare.”

Additional rebelutionary gatherings for 2007 are scheduled for Dallas on July 21st and Indianapolis on September 15th.

Hey Confused, the post wasn’t saying that all the leaders of the Rebelution met in Denver, just some of them. They aren’t really official leaders, anyway. These fake news articles are just meant to be a fun way to talk about some of the exciting things that are happening with the movement.
