November 20th, 2007 at 9:25 pm
Grace Martin ~ According to a September Breakway Magazine* article they are in Japan for the final conference of this year’s Rebelution tour.
Quote: “What’s more, the twins are in the middle of their second Rebelution Tour, a five-city swing through the U.S. and Japan from June to November.”
*Breakway Magazine is Focus on the Family’s magazine for teen guys.
I got to read the article, because my younger brother receives Breakway.
November 20th, 2007 at 9:29 pm
Glad you arrived safely!
My dad was in Japan about a week ago, he’s a pilot so he flies there sometimes… I thought it would be funny if you somehow ended up on the same flight, but then realized it’s not likely because he’s not flying there soon and you probably don’t have a stop here in Dubai.
I’m praying for you guys, have a great time in Japan!

Cool! You’re in Asia already. I hope you could take your tour here in the Philippines too.
God Bless You guys!
November 20th, 2007 at 11:26 pm
Whoa! Neat.
Wave at Japan for me. That way I’d be able to say I was there too.
Have an awesome time in Christ. Take care and God bless.
November 21st, 2007 at 12:12 am
Really! I thought the tour was only stateside…heh… only the pope is infallible…not…anyway, thats cool. Are you guys looking to expand to other countries?
November 21st, 2007 at 5:14 am
Oh, Japan! *dreamy voice* Ever since I was young, I have always loved anything related to Japanese culture. I’m often assuring myself that I’ll be visiting soon… I hope you two enjoy your trip there! Please wave at Japan for me, too. It’s most unfortunate that you can’t bring us all souvenirs.
So long as you intend to expound on your tour, show tons of pictures, and all of that, I’ll be content. Learn any of the language so far? I was in the midst of learning it a while back, but I took up Russian and Spanish instead. All right, if I allowed myself, I would ask tons of questions, because I truly love Japan. Maybe you’ll have an opportunity to answer all of ours later when you return. Until then, God bless you both! Enjoy!
November 21st, 2007 at 5:40 am
oh those pics are so beautiful and bring back tons of memories of when my family went to Japan! Hope you guys have a great time!
November 21st, 2007 at 5:41 am
Many prayers are being prayed for you two and everyone!
November 21st, 2007 at 7:28 am
Beautiful pictures! The middle one turned out Very well. The pictures make me want to go the Pakistan, where my mother was raised. Chuckle: Or India where my Grandfather was raised.
Propjets: The Harris’s mother is Japanese so the entire family has a special place in their hearts for Japan. Whether they expand into other countries is in God’s plan, but they already speak the language of Japan so it was a logical country to expand the tour to first. Besides it makes a GREAT grand finale for the first year of the tour : )
November 21st, 2007 at 8:25 am
Oh, wow, I didn’t know that their mother was Japanese. How funny, because when I saw the tour pictures I thought that their eyes were not the usual for being what I thought was pure caucasian. Haha! Well now I know! I happen to be a melting pot of ethnicities. I don’t really know what nationality I look like. Just a person at the most, for which I should be grateful!
November 21st, 2007 at 9:20 am
Hey brothers. I hope you’re having a great time connecting with family and bringing the hope of the Gospel to our neighbors in Japan. Leeland was there earlier this year and they were warmly welcomed by the non-Christian world who discovered the power of God through their music. I’m writing this week, trying to finish up the book, and meeting with some students this week. I appreciate your prayers and friendship. God bless you, empower you and give you boldness to speak the truth in love.
November 21st, 2007 at 9:26 am
Wow! Those first two pictures are gorgeous. I hope you guys have a good time there. =)
November 21st, 2007 at 9:55 am
Grace: Ahh, very cool, thanks for explaining that.
November 21st, 2007 at 11:09 am
Wow, I’m so excited that the Rebelution is going to Japan! I was in Tokyo last week, and there is an incredible need for truth there. Enjoy the food and the different culture!
November 21st, 2007 at 12:25 pm
There is a saying that says, “Better than reading ten thousand lines is traveling ten thousand miles.”
I am excited for you to experience, relax, enjoy, and learn through this trip. Welcome to Asia!
November 21st, 2007 at 2:14 pm
Great pictures! I am praying for you–have a great time!

November 22nd, 2007 at 4:59 pm
Sorry if I missed your reply, but I never got why you are there?
November 22nd, 2007 at 8:34 pm
Lauren: I get the impression that they are not able to respond to our comments right now. I think that they making the final stop of the 2007 Rebelution tour. Otherwise, I have no idea.
November 22nd, 2007 at 10:06 pm
Lauren: Our family is here in Japan for the final stop of this year’s Rebelution Tour. My parents and Alex and Brett are also speaking at the the National Homeschool Convention.
We will post more pictures as soon as we can, however right now our internet access is through the hotel computers and we can’t import them.
Note: Sorry for any typos I’ve made, japanese keyboards have a different layout than I’m used to.
November 22nd, 2007 at 10:19 pm
Thank you everyone for the comments! As Sarah said, we currently have Internet access only through hotel computers, so we cannot upload more pictures at the moment. We are in Japan to speak at the national homeschool conference and to hold a Rebelution event in Tokyo on December 1st (November 30th in the States).
I’m afraid we cannot speak Japanese — but we are working on it during this trip! Brett and I have both done one session so far and the response has been very positive. It is tricky working with translators, but we are learning a lot and enjoying every moment.
Thank you for your prayers!
November 23rd, 2007 at 1:41 am
How fun! My dad is the only one if our family to ever visit Japan. I would love to be able to go some day. I’ll be praying for all your speaking engagements and safe return!
November 23rd, 2007 at 10:20 am
That sounds so neat! I will be praying for you guys!
November 23rd, 2007 at 1:51 pm
I’m glad you all are having a great time! I have a lot of friends who are missionaries in Japan.
November 24th, 2007 at 10:33 am
Hey guys, I pray the trip goes well! May God continue to use your words in mighty ways.
Providence!
November 24th, 2007 at 4:28 pm
Wow! how cool!
Those are beautiful pictures as well!
November 25th, 2007 at 6:37 am
Hey Alex and Brett,
We enjoyed your visit to Japan! Thanks for coming and for encouraging us and so many others. It is great to see the “fruit” of good homeschooling. We hope to share your messages with the young people we are ministering to here. May God use you to do hard things in the future as well. You encouraged us in the “hard things” of living and ministering in Japan. OK, let’s be honest… I hope that God calls you both here as missionaries!
November 25th, 2007 at 5:24 pm
It is so cool to see you guys reaching out to a broader range of people! I’ve really enjoyed watching God work in your lives and others through your blog. It is so encouraging to see people my age doing what God commands them to (”Go into the world…”) and you have definately made an impact in my life personally. Thanks again and God bless!!!
November 25th, 2007 at 7:33 pm
You both are in my prayers! Japan looks like a fascinating place…
November 25th, 2007 at 8:04 pm
Wow, that is really neat! Hope you both had an excellent Thanksgiving…and I hope you share more photos from your trip if you have time.

Jazzy Dytes, are you in the Philippines too? I was beginning to think there wasn’t any body else who liked the Rebelution over here. Alex and Brett, you should come over to the Philippines while you are in Asia. And while you’re here, eat some balut!
November 28th, 2007 at 1:08 am
