UPDATE: Do Hard Things Tour
Last year’s conferences reached over 4,000 teens and parents and showed us once again that God can use us when we are willing to step outside our comfort zones and “do hard things” for Him. With that in mind we are so excited about what God is going to do through this year’s Do Hard Things Tour.
COME: Registration Is Open For All Conferences
In case you missed it, registration is now open for all seven conferences (Charlotte, Portland, Denver, Minneapolis, Dallas, Des Moines, and Gaithersburg). Make sure you mark the registration deadlines on your calender. Charlotte’s Early Bird Deadline is February 9th. We still operate on a “Pay-What-You-Can” basis.
SHARE: We Need Your Help To Spread The Word
We are currently looking for dozens of rebelutionaries (teens and adults) to serve as Publicity Captains. We’ve got all the info on this handy page. Let us know if you can be part of our team. We depend on you to spread the word about these events.
WOW: Who Would Have Thought…
I can’t tell you how many times in the past year Alex and I have just had to shake our heads in wonder at what God has done in us and through us. We’re doing seven conferences? We’re writing a book? We’re going to be on TV?!? A lot of it is scary (and all of it is hard), but that just means that we must rely ever more on God’s grace and return daily to the Cross of Christ.
Please keep us in your prayers and don’t hesitate to write if you ever feel we’re out of line. We mean that. Our friends need to be louder than our “fans.”

Hmm, Des Moines is the closest to IL. I’ll have to see if I can make it.
Keep up the good work!

I just can’t wait ’till the Dallas conference!!! Thanks so much for doing all this for the teens around the world - it’s needed.
Oh, and when are you going to be on TV??? I hadn’t heard about that……

Great way to sum up how we must live our lives:
“A lot of it is scary (and all of it is hard), but that just means that we must rely ever more on God’s grace and return daily to the Cross of Christ.”
For some, it’s the only way to survive and the only option, at times; for others, it’s the only way to really live, so it’s a constant choice no matter what the circumstances.
It’s an unbelievable encouragement to me to hear those words now.
Thank you.
I will pray for both you and Alex, and continue to pray. I know my mom will be praying, as well. And we will be sure to pray that God raises up and uphold in His Principles, by His Grace, friends of Truth to encourage you in the uncompromising Righteousness of the One we follow.
Thank you!

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D!!! I can’t wait! Do we get to meet you or are you to busy?
January 31st, 2008 at 7:51 pm
Josiah: Definitely! Our favorite part is meeting and talking with people up front between the sessions and after the conference is over. Hope you can make it!

Wow, it’s THAT attitude that first drew me to you guys. You’re just two teenagers doing their best to follow God’s will for their lives and look at what he has given you! Yet you still return to that original attitude that God rewarded you for. Every post by you and many others on the forum are truly encouraging, convicting and challenging words. Loving, but challenging. That’s why I respect you guys so much.

Hey guys,
Your website for the tour shows Minneapolis on the 21st of June, but in the verbiage about the location it shows it as May 3rd!!! I’m guessing 6/21 is the correct date!
January 31st, 2008 at 8:44 pm
Hey no fair! Now I’ve seen the video and I’m all psyched for the conference -
and then I find out that I have to wait until JULY???
I’m excited….!
January 31st, 2008 at 9:29 pm
Hmmm…Gaithersburg seems to be closest. I have no idea if I’ll be able to go…but who knows.

I’d love to be able to see this first-hand. I’m sure that your message is not only convicting, but challenges the listeners to “get out and do hard things”…and not only that, but it is always inspiring for me to see how God is using other “ordinary” (though I have to admit, you guys are far from ordinary in many ways) youth/young adults who are committed to Him to reach out to the world in amazing ways. That is mainly why I’d like to come.

It’s a great experience and I’m still motivated from last September. I was wondering, are ya’ll going to have any conferences other then Sacramento from last year on video?

“Please keep us in your prayers and don’t hesitate to write if you ever feel we’re out of line. We mean that. Our friends need to be louder than our “fans.” ”
Hhm. I guess I’m your friend, then!
But seriously…That comment only reminded me of why I want to go to the conference at all. You guys don’t want followers, you want companions.
February 5th, 2008 at 5:41 pm
hey, is there an age-limit on this? as in… too old?
February 5th, 2008 at 7:42 pm
Yeah! I wanted to join you at the CA one last year, but other than my lifelong savings, I couldn’t afford that plane ticket. But my mom and I are planning to drive to the OR one! Thanks for doing ‘um in different locations this year!
February 8th, 2008 at 8:16 am
Second mo’s Question! I’m not really a teen anymore(one year too old for the title), but I would really love to come!
February 8th, 2008 at 1:10 pm
Hey everyone: Definitely go if you’re not a teen anymore. It’s awesome!
To Alex and Brett: I would write more except that I fear your inboxes are totally crammed already! Not that I think you’re out of line…I think you’re awesome and just wanted to tell you that.
But I will write anyway, because you’re on my to-write list.
In charity with blessings and daily prayers,
Adrienne
