To help with registration, though not a huge job, was the greatest blessing. I believe SO much in the Rebleution and it has changed my life SO much that it is all my pleasure to help. I live in northern MN (I met Alex and the conference and helped with registration) and my family is a very charismatic about most things so we are kind of "Odd". My mom jokes around about being a black Hippie (and she is norwegian) and my friends are constantly reminding me that I am not black (sadly!). We had an older woman who used to go to our church from Detroit and she was awesome. She always sat behind us and called me and my sister "Sugar". I loved it!!! The culture is very rough and gruff, especially up north!!!!!! People are also very closed to outsiders, at least in small towns. It isn't as bad in Minneapolis though, they are totally different from the rest on MN! On another note: my cousin is in the 2nd picture to the top. Only about two rows back from where you (Brett) were standing. She is my favorite cousin and was the person who I first ever heard the name "Alex and Brett" from.
