Abby: It was our pleasure!!! I think I can say on behalf of most of the volunteers, that we enjoyed SO much being able to serve you and to serve God by serving you. I for sure LOVED it. To help with registration, though not a huge job, was the greatest blessing. I believe SO much in the Rebleution and it has changed my life SO much that it is all my pleasure to help. In Christ,
Olivia
P.S. (Alex and Brett: Do you know that Ryan Substad (one of the registration captins) looks like he could be a Harris? At least that was my opinion.)

A big thank you to everyone for all the hard work put into this conference. It was very challenging. I'm now reading the book, and I'm really hoping that the enthusiasm I have now won't wear off. "Do Hard Things" is a message that Christian teenagers (and even non-Christians as well) need to hear. God has been using you (and everyone else behind the scenes) to do great things! I'll continue to pray for you!

In Christ,
Abby

I only heard about you and your book on Friday 6/27, I bought it and am a third of the way through reading it. What an inspiration! I'm a 39 year old mother of 9 homeschooled kids ranging in age from 13 years to 2 months. Your ideas, and the fact that they're coming from "teens", encourages me to hold the line with my own kids. (something they'll appreciate sooner than they think) I'm only sorry that we missed your conference, we'll definately keep our eyes open for the next one in MN.

Thank you for your obedience to His voice and thanks to your parents for choosing to do the hard things in raising their children. I plan to subscribe to updates on your website because being reminded to "do hard things" (the right things with the right motives) will help me be the parent God wants for these, His children.

Blessings,
Merri

Hey Brett,
You are SOOOOOOOO right by the fact that Minnesotans are more reserved!!!!! I live in northern MN (I met Alex and the conference and helped with registration) and my family is a very charismatic about most things so we are kind of "Odd". My mom jokes around about being a black Hippie (and she is norwegian) and my friends are constantly reminding me that I am not black (sadly!). We had an older woman who used to go to our church from Detroit and she was awesome. She always sat behind us and called me and my sister "Sugar". I loved it!!! The culture is very rough and gruff, especially up north!!!!!! People are also very closed to outsiders, at least in small towns. It isn't as bad in Minneapolis though, they are totally different from the rest on MN!

On another note: my cousin is in the 2nd picture to the top. Only about two rows back from where you (Brett) were standing. She is my favorite cousin and was the person who I first ever heard the name "Alex and Brett" from. Though now I am actually more passionate about the rebelution then she is! : )
In Christ,
Olivia
