  1. Rebecca Says:

hmmm…. sounds great! can’t wait to find out what it is!!

  2. Camden M. Says:

I’ve think that’s an awesome idea, that not only should you have young people Doing Hard Things, but that the older and wiser generation come along side them in aid. So, this is almost like a “Do Hard Things” collaboration between adults and teens!

    Camden

  3. Chelsea McBay Says:

I agree with Camden and can not wait to see what you guys have in store for the rebelutionaries along with the old, wiser generation. =)

  4. Michael Williams Says:

Judging by the comments, it’s a great idea, but the page looks like it’s been overlapped by the input fields.

It may be my browser; it’s been acting weird lately. Is this just happening with me?

  5. Brett Harris Says:

Michael: That’s weird. It looks fine in IE, Firefox, and Safari. What browser are you using?

  6. megs Says:

looks good cant wait to see whats it about!
    megs

  7. Josh S. Says:

This looks amazing! Can’t wait to learn more.

  8. Kyrstin Says:

This is a great idea! It is a wonderful Biblical concept, (Titus 2!!) I am very excited about this and hope to find out more soon.

  9. bondChristian Says:

Hmm… yeah, this is sounding like Kyle Reed’s Mentor Me Project, which I’m a big fan of. I’m signed up for this too, so I’m looking forward to how it turns out. Let me know if I can help with anything.

    -Marshall Jones Jr.

  10. Sarah Peña Says:

I’m jumping up and down with excitement! When will you guys tell us? Soon, please!!!

    Sarah :D

  11. Andy Says:

This could provide an exciting new opportunity. There is the yearning out there for the older to provide some quality “nuggets of wisdom” for some of those just bursting with energy, enthusiasm and drive for the sake of Christ. The “doing hard things” concept respectfully applies to people of any age.

  12. Benjamin V. Says:

I try to subscribe, but they don’t sent me an mail back.
Is this just my e-mail (or browser) or did I understand something wrong?

This sounds great! I can’t wait to see what it is!

  16. Michael Williams Says:

    @ Brett Harris

I’m using IE 7, Windows Vista. I’ve been having quirky things go on lately (never mind Vista being quirky as it is :) ), so it’s probably something on my computer.

Is this why you guys like to use Macs? :)

  17. Rebekah J. Says:

    http://picasaweb.google.ca/lh/photo/_GnyapAr8wsR9ZD55685XQ?feat=directlink

It may be my browser; it’s been acting weird lately. Is this just happening with me?”

Same thing to me, using IE.

  27. Ivan Says:

So you guys obviously don’t have anything to do with the reggae/rock group from Santa Barbara, California of the name Rebelution… too bad. They’re really good.

    http://www.rebelutionmusic.com/

  28. Meg Says:

Aha…a new project from The Rebelution! (puts Biblical discernment glasses on end of nose, and removes them half-way satisfied :) ). I am very excited by what I can see, but like Rachel and Michael I don’t seem to be seeing everything. I am using IE as well.
Despite that fact, this seems excellent so far. When is the grand unveiling to be?
    ~Meg

  29. Chloë Says:

How exciteing! I can’t wait to find out more!!!

  30. Nicholas K Says:

This looks amazing! I can’t wait for it to develop and be “released”!

    † Nicholas †

  31. Joshua Guthrie Says:

YES. This is quite what this generation (and any to follow) needs! I look forward to hearing further about this latest chapter in the Rebelution Saga. :)

  32. Laura V. Says:

Looks awesome! I can’t wait to get involved! Keep up the amazing work you guys! Praying for you and this project!! :D

    Grace and Peace to you!

  34. Sydney Says:

Looks great…wisdom from those older is definitely needed in this generation! Looking forward to it! :) God bless.

  35. Joanna Says:

I’m having the same problem as Michael Williams - I can’t see everything. Hope it gets fixed so I can read it and see it all!

  36. marz Says:

    can’t wait 4 more!!!!

  37. Emily Says:

    hmm…is this for ages 20-29?
Because if yes, it sounds to me like it’s trying to be a prolonged version of the Rebelution, trying to stay teenagers to continue to do hard things, which would be the opposite of the rebelution message.

If it’s expanded to all adults, then I’m all for it, because I already have a mentor who is eight years older than me (I’m 17) and she has a mentor who’s 20 years older than her, and all three of us benefit from that. So I approve of discipling.

the title is misleading…although I haven’t heard all your explanation (maybe that will clear it up).

  38. Egm Says:

    So cool! I can’t wait! =D

  39. Anna R. Says:

Sounds fascinating! Speaking personally, I myself have always had a huge respect for the wisdom, knowledge, and maturity older people have, and have always regretted that many incredible people have not been heard of because of lack of energy or sadly a lack of respect on the part of youth. The idea of the young and old walking together could rock our world!

  40. Sophie Says:

Cool! I can’t wait!! So when are we going to know what it is? :)

  41. Rachel Kimberly Says:

What does the twenty29 mean? A year? An age range, as Emily suggested above? A Bible reference?

    I can’t wait to hear more. :)

  42. Lydia D. Says:

From the comments it sounds exciting. But I’m having trouble viewing it. :(

  43. Sarah Beth Says:

Sounds great from the comments, but on my browser as well it is being overlapped by the input boxes.

  44. Brett Harris Says:

Everyone: We’re really glad you’re excited. =) Thanks also for pointing out the IE 7 bug. We’ll be fixing that shortly.

In regards to the name — it is *not* a year or an age range. It *may* be a verse reference. ;) Can you figure out which one?

  45. Sarah Beth Says:

    Is it Proverbs 20:29?

  46. Kristin Carr Says:

This is *very* exciting, guys! :D

  47. Emily D Says:

After finding out about the new site this morning I was just thinking about a verse… I definately think it’s Proverbs 20:29…. Haha you beat you me to it Sarah Beth :)

  48. Lauren Ashley Says:

Wow, this looks really exciting. I can’t wait to find out what this new project entails….Keep us posted!

I agree with Sarah Beth, is it Proverbs 20:29?

  49. Lauren R. Says:

I can’t wait!! When are we going to find out? I think I am going to look up every 20:29 verse in my bible for daily devotions, it might take a few weeks, but its like a treasure hunt.

Am I the only one who thinks that Brett is toying with our minds by keeping us in suspense? :D

  50. Jessica Says:

I think that that is a great idea for young people to choin w/ older people! Think what could be accomplished.. Often times I think we think that young people are to do there thing and older people there’s but if we choined the 2 together what an incredible impact we could have on the world and on our own lives! I think it’s Proverbs 20:29…Is it?

  51. Jessica Says:

I think it means Proverbs 20:29 but I really want to know if that is what it really means!! I hope they tell us SOON!! :)

  52. Jessica Says:

Okay this will be my last comment on this.. :) I have look at EVERY book of the Bible and it has to be Proverbs 20:29! I almost a 100% sure… but I have been wrong before.. :)

  53. Melinda Says:

oh! cannot wait guys! I wish you would keep so much to yourselves! grrrrr! :D
    Blessings,
    Meggie

  54. Camden M. Says:

Well, Proverbs 20:29 does talk about the young and strong working in unison with the old and wise. I don’t know of any other 20:29 that gets quite that close. ;)

    Camden

  55. Lindsey H. Says:

Ooooo!!! I cannot wait to find out more!!
    Tell us!! :D
    It’s exciting!
    Lindsey

  56. Lindsay Says:

I can’t wait to see what twenty29 brings us! After reading your first book(& I’m already counting down the days till your next), I can’t help but expect great things from this new big thing.

    Blessings,
    Lindsay

  57. Hope Says:

This sounds super exciting! I can’t wait ti learn more about it! :)

  58. Hope Says:

Oops! I meant “to” not “ti”. :/

  59. Janai Fuentes Says:

    Can’t wait!! Looks neat!!

  60. Becca Smith Says:

I saw Brett’s comment about the possible verse, and I knew immediately that *if* it is a verse reference, it is Proverbs 20:29! I remember that verse coming up at the conference. :-)

  61. Tim Sleeper Says:

Sounds interesting, but very vague at this point. Can’t wait until it completely rolls out!

  62. Hannah Leary Says:

This sounds really cool! I love the idea about discipleship (it’s Titus 2 in practice). I think it’s Proverbs 20:29 too! Like Tim said it’s pretty vague to me. I can’t wait to find more! When will you tell us?!

  63. Sarah Pride Says:

Ha! Brett is using good PR to lead up to the launch of the website. Getting people excited. Very nice. ;)

  64. Andrea P. Says:

Thrilled here! I love new, mysterious, surprise projects!

  65. Noella Says:

    Exciting!!!

  66. Zheng Says:

    Haha, what a ‘teaser’.

    I’m excited.

  67. Daniel Osborne Says:

I am so excited about seeing how God will use this in the lives of teens for His glory! Can’t wait to see it actually happen!

  68. Laura Says:

I’m so excited to see how this goes!! And to find out more information!

  69. Emily Rose Says:

i’m pretty sure its Proverbs 20:29…which is one of the BEST verses in the Bible and REALLY worth putting into practice. (something that society today regretfully fails to do :( )

Can’t wait to hear more and see where this new project leads…God has done amazing things with The Rebelution. Now let’s see what He does with this!
    In Christ,
    Emily

  70. Alex Says:

    It is - I think - Prov. 20:29. I see I am not the first… oh well.

  71. Amy A. Says:

I can’t tell you how excited I am about your new project! I think the concept is totally awesome!!!
I can’t wait to see how you guys organize this, and I can’t wait to see how I can get involved.

    Keep on keeping on,
    -Amy

  72. Alex Says:

As for why the site is acting up, I don’t know if you code, but the way it was done for the logo.gif image is it is the background-image in CSS of the h1 tag. And the positioning isn’t absolute or anything, it is just read in by the browser. Firefox doesn’t add any space, IE does. I don’t know if changing the line-height would help; except that would mess it up for anyone that couldn’t see images in their browsers, but these days, everyone can view images. Alex or Brett: If you want to talk with me, just send me an email.

    Thanks,

    Alex

  73. Conor Says:

Awww… don’t leave us in suspense!

Could you just give us a hint what it is? Please?

  74. Alex Says:

Sorry. I guess that isn’t quite it because I tried it and didn’t work… but setting margin:0px; for everything that didn’t have margin setup helped, but didn’t entirely solve the problem. But do set the margin:0px; because it makes FireFox look better too.

  75. Alex Says:

I am trying to work out the bugs. It’s getting better, you can see it at http://sandbox.lexben.com/twenty29/

  76. Alex Says:

OK, the test I uploaded http://sandbox.lexben.com/twenty29/ (< there) works perfect in IE 8. The Noble Institute (Rebelution) can copy the css file and upload it, and your problems should be solved.

    God Bless,

    Alex

  77. Meg Says:

    Hello again,
Thanks for trying to sort out the IE problem. The link Alex gave looks right, although in the link on the original post, some things remain overlapping. Still looking foward to what this is all about!
    ~Meg

  78. Alex Says:

It looks like you guys fixed it without all that extra code in my file! I don’t know what you did, but it worked. I will take your site off my server. You can delete my comments.

  79. Camden M. Says:

I found another really great verse that goes well with Proverbs 20:29 that I thought I would share here:

    Psalm 71:18 (NIV)

Even when I am old and gray,
do not forsake me, O God,
till I declare your power to the next generation,
your might to all who are to come.

    Camden

  80. beth S. Says:

When do we find out more?:)

  81. Abitha Says:

Thats SUCH a good point! I love to help out when i can but sometimes im not knowledgeable enough to go about it. And i do admit, i can be really proud sometimes to ask older people for help because i want to do it on my own, but now i see that if we combine their brains with our hands, EXTRAORDINARY things could happen!

  82. Lindsay Says:

Hmm… this looks good… I always love a good mystery! Wonder what the name means… twenty29?

  83. Michael Seifert Says:

hmmmmm….. I wonder exactly what this project is? Hopefully we’ll find out soon. :)

  84. Alesia Says:

FINALLY! The Rebelution is working for me! =D

    Awesome! It’s so exciting!
Alex and Brett, are you guys heading this project? Probably a stupid question though, lol.

    God Bless
    Alesia

  85. Rebekah J. Says:

I keep checking you blog about every hour just to see if there are any new developments!!!! (I’m not very patient :D) This is just too exciting!!!!

  86. Rebekah J. Says:

    *your* blog :D

  87. Sarah Beth Says:

I’m with Rebekah J. This is way too suspenseful.

Oh, and I use the browser IE and twenty29.org is now working if I go straight to the website. If I use the link from above the input box is still on top of the wording. This could just be my computer though.

  88. Reid Says:

sounds cool! I’d like to find out what it is

  89. Lindsey H. Says:

I’m with… well it looks like just about everyone else :)
When do we find out more???? :D

  90. Yasutomo Says:

    whoot!!! Sounds really exciting!!
Can’t wait for the time to share the more excitement with rebelutionaries!!!

  91. Jordan Says:

According to the Twitter account, the name comes from a Bible verse. After much searching, I venture that it is Proverbs 20:29:

“The glory of young men is their strength, gray hair the splendor of the old.”

Sounds like a great idea, and I can’t wait to hear more!

  92. Jordan Says:

Oops, didn’t read all the comments. Sorry, smart-people-who-figured-it-out-first.

  93. Meg Says:

It looks great, thanks! I don’t have a problem viewing it with IE now, so long as I don’t fully maximize the window.
    ~Meg

  94. Brett Harris Says:

Good job everyone. It certainly seems like the verse reference must be Proverbs 20:29. ;)

As a reward, here’s your next clue.

Do any of you recognize this view?
    http://therebelution.com/twenty29/clue_1.jpg

  95. Hannah Leary Says:

What is that picture exposed to mean? It is a description a of Bible verse? Or showing a multi-generation view? I’m brain-screaching for possible answers. Anyhow, this mystery is getting more exciting by the minute! I can’t wait to find out more.

  96. Sarah P. Says:

Oooh! Exciting! :D I can’t wait to figure out what it is!

Honestly, I don’t recognize the view. Well, I have a guess but I’m not sure. Geography isn’t my strong subject. ;)

    Keep the clues coming!

    Sarah

  97. Rebecca Turner Says:

The picture looks like New Zealand, but I’m not seeing how that would fit with Proverbs or the Rebelution at all : ) So, I’m not sure how it connects…You’re really enjoying knowing this while we all try to figure it out, aren’t you, Brett? : )

  98. Lucas L. C. Says:

Hmm…maybe twenty29 involves a missions trip to the place in the picture?

That’s just my first guess of many, though…this picture thing has really got my brain thinkin’ :)

  99. Lucas L. C. Says:

Hmm…and how can I say this without giving anything away….but I played around with the address a little bit and was told that I was told that I was “very clever”, “but not a jedi yet” (just so you know that I found your little messages, Alex and Brett ;) )

  100. Jessica Says:

I really don’t know what that means!! Maybe the moutains represent strength…? I really don’t have any clue! I can’t wait to find out what it means and get more clues! :)

  101. Brett Harris Says:

Lucas: Good job! If you are really clever, though, you’ll pay attention to the background of the other clues. ;)

  102. Peter L. Says:

Looks like a certain Training Center

  103. Amanda Howell Says:

    I can’t wait!

I agree with Proverbs20:29. As far as the picture goes though…. maybe some sort of retreat?

  104. A. J. Dahl Says:

I’m curious, what is it?! =)

  105. Walter Says:

Looks like a retreat center to me. I’d wager in the Appalachians. Perhaps the Smokies? I guess I’m a hacker at heart - I started messing with the URL before I even saw these comments. :)

  106. Anna Joy Says:

Wow. This is frustrating. I’ve learned that ‘persistence pays off’ (yay?) and I’ve scrutinized the suggested birds-eye view…but have no idea where on earth it could be located!? I wish I was more familiar with my geography.. I just know you’re sitting there looking like the cat that ate the canary >.< ;]

  107. Rebekah J. Says:

I can’t take all this suspense much longer!!!!! The picture really has me confused - can you post more clues soon??!!

  108. Joseph Says:

Wow, this is exciting. The backgrounds on clue 2 and 3 look like some sort of large building with a big parking lot, out in the middle of nowhere. Mabey some sort of museum or college or something (?). oh well. looking forward to it whatever it is.

  109. Jessica Says:

Okay I think I might know…but I wish I could look at all the clues again.. But I’m still not sure it still has me puzzled.. The suspense is driving me nuts!!

  110. Hannah Leary Says:

I’m sooo confused! More clues - soon please!

  111. Hannah Gabrielle Says:

Aha! This is EXACTLY (I know…all caps…but I’m excited!) what I’ve felt is lacking in the Rebelution. Raising the status quo and doing hard things is all well and good…but we’re teenagers. We haven’t had time to say we’ve “been there, done that” and we DON’T have the experience and spiritual maturity that some of our elders have. Sometimes we’ll slip up in doing hard things, and we won’t make the most brilliant choices…and we need those older than us to guide us.

I’m really looking forward to this!

  112. Amber Says:

Okay…so Brett mentioned looking at the background of other clues. I looked around the verse “Proverbs 20:29″ but didn’t really find anything (maybe I didn’t look hard enough?) And then I looked at the background of the site twenty29.org and it reminded me of NEW YORK, so I googled “New York Mountains” and came up with a picture of this:

    http://www.worldfromtheweb.com/Parks/BearMtn/78492_26.jpg

    Hmmm….hot or cold?

  113. Joel Y. Says:

I believe Walter was onto something when he speculated that it was in the Appalachians. The second clue appears to be a satellite picture of the building that is barely visible on the prominent mountain in the first clue. My first thought was perhaps Bryan College, but the satellite picture doesn’t match up.
    Any ideas anybody??

  114. Amber Says:

So, I played around w/the link and got “look hard for the birds eye view.” Now, if you look at the background picture of the one saying “very clever, my young padawan but you’re not a jedi yet. ;)” what does it look like?

A building and a parking lot and a road and a lot of trees…maybe? Aaahh! I’m not sure. haha. Next clue please!

  115. Irina H. F. Says:

how are you guys figuring this picture out?!?!?! Ive been staing at it for ages(well, everytime I’ve got a minute) and Ican’t figure it out. do I play around with the link or something?

  116. Irina H. F. Says:

Okay, it looks like Virginia. But, it can’t be Patrick Henry college, b/c PHC is not by a river.

  117. Joel Y. Says:

Irina, I don’t believe Patrick Henry is in the mountains. Is it?

  118. Irina H. F. Says:

looks like a hotel to me.

  119. Irina H. F. Says:

Joel, Patrick Henry isn’t in the mountains.

  120. Holly Hutcheson Says:

THis sounds cool! In fact i had an adult I know read the book for teens and now she understands what i want to do, and has asked me to go with her to talk to the representatives. On getting some laws changed she says she needs me to tell whats happened in my life to get people to understand whats wrong with my counties court system. I was very pleased to see adults do listen, and do understand the point Alex and Brett got across to me. Thank you guys!!! God has told me to do something for a long time, but i was scard, and after reading the book. I decided to do it. My life has changed RADICALLY! Its the best thing I ever did.

  121. Tim Sleeper Says:

I have heard people talk about multiple clues, but I only see one link to a picture. where are the other clues?

  122. Tim Sleeper Says:

nvm. I figured it out. man am I behind on this!

  123. Sarah Beth Says:

Guys, I know this is awful, but I CAN NOT find clues 2 and 3. Please, someone tell me where they are. Did Brett post more somewhere? HELP

  124. Tim Sleeper Says:

Okay, the first picture is a view from the Appalachian mountains. For proof follow this link:
    http://energy.er.usgs.gov/regional_studies/appalachians/

  125. Tim Sleeper Says:

Sarah, follow the link for the first clue and rename the link to http://therebelution.com/twenty29/clue_2.jpg/ and so on. I think it goes up to 6.

  126. Irina H. F. Says:

sarah beth, play around w/ the link, especially the jpg part.

  127. Rebekah W. Says:

This looks so exciting! I admire the Rebelution for their emphasis on bringing different generations together. I have been very blessed by the older generation. There is so much to learn by observing, listening to, and discussing with those who are older. Our generation is missing a lot because they are failing to glean wisdom from those with grey hair.

Sarah Beth, I found the clues but had a hard time understanding what everyone meant by “messing with the URL.” Read through the comments. Brett posted link to a picture. Notice that the URL says *clue_1.* Mess with this part of the URL to find *more clues.*

The only thing that comes to mind is a retreat in the Appalachian Mountains. So our clues are these: joining the younger and older generations, Appalachian mountains, and a bird’s eye view of a building. No other ideas yet.

  128. Sarah Beth Says:

Thank you so much, Irena and Rebekah. I found them.

This does look very much like the Appalachains. I live in these beautiful mountains and I am wracking my brain to think of every retreat and school I have ever heard of.

  129. Irina H. F. Says:

I just downloaded Google Earth to try and find it. So far, no luck. but, it does help with it being narrowed down to the Appalachian Mnts.

  130. Lexi Says:

AHHH this is sooo suspenseful! I’ve been checking back every few hours. lol i guess I am not that patient?

is it some type of missions trip or something? Cuz if it is, i am SOOO going! =)

ill have to mess around with that URL like everybody is saying…not computer smart..so we shall see how that goes.

    Lexi

  131. Lexi Says:

hmm looks like a huge building in the middle of no where…..is it like an old retirement home? lol I have no idea…I doubt thats what it is =D

its cant be a college…why would you guys be starting that…but hey, you’re the rebelution guys…anything can happen.

anybody else got ideas? maybe a new conference and thats the location? OH or maybe something like a conference with elder people building up younger people?

errgg this is terrible! Brett, you better not keep us waiting for too long! =)

  132. Sarah Beth Says:

Lexi, a retirement home crossed my mind too. Like you I doubt it though.

Is it a college? Could it be new headquarters for the rebelution??? Doubt that too.

There is a mountain somewhere in NC, GA, TN, or SC (that corner of those states) that has a school or conference center on top of it. For the life of me I can not remeber the name of it. Our youth group went on a mission trip there a few years ago. Obviously I didn’t go. I’ll keep thinking.

This is probably somewhere really obvious, that, like everyonehas heard of. That is the way these things always work out.

This is driving me mad. Hurry guys. Please tell us, or at least give us more clues.

  133. Jennifer Says:

I get everything so far, but I’ll admit it took me awhile. I’m SO excited! When’s the next clue coming? (Or do we have to figure it out?) Where did the web-wizards go? Can’t you guys do all the hard work for us? :)

I’m so excited, I can hardly sit still!

    Jennifer

  134. Sarah Beth Says:

Okay, my mom had this really good suggestion. Could it be a youth work project at a camp somewhere in the mountains that needs work? Just an idea.

  135. Marli R. Says:

    Very, very excited!! :D

  136. Jennifer Says:

I’m not sure… this is all very confusing, since it doesn’t seem like Brett would send us hoppin’ all over the internet trying to find something…. it does seem, as Sarah Beth said, that it would be something we’ve all (or most of us have) heard of…. But you never know, I guess.

    Keep the clues coming!

  137. Rebekah J. Says:

    Oh I have an idea!!!!!! Maybe it’s a retreat/conference (in the mountains, hence clue #2) where young/old are gathered together?? Ok……that’s a weird idea :D I don’t know - I’m getting desperate!!!

  138. Lydia D. Says:

I just went to the patrick henry college site. The college is located at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. And the Blue Ridge Mountains are part of the Appalachians. Also, they say you can go hiking on the historic Appalachian Trail, located just 10 miles from PHC’s campus. I’m guessing that picture is from a hike that Alex and/or Brett took. Still no idea about the other one though. Am I right?

  139. Lydia D. Says:

Here’s the link to the college if any of you want to follow scroll down a bit until you reach the part that says area information
    http://www.phc.edu/events_lodging.php

  140. Jeneva Says:

I have no idea what’s going on. The picture does make me think of the Appalachian mountains, though. I really want to know what it is!!!!

  141. Jeneva Says:

I don’t know, but it looks like a greenhouse to me. Maybe it’s just my imagination…

  142. Jeneva Says:

… sorry, on the second clue

  143. Jonathan Potter Says:

A little digital help produces a slightly clearer image: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4051/4290880695_e89f263270_o.jpg

  144. Daniel W. Says:

Guys, I just thought of something! I took clue #2 into I photo on my mac. and messed around with it. you can see the background much more clearly. try increasing definition, highlights, and shadows and decreasing contrast.

The only problem is I don’t know how to put it on this blog. Any ideas? If You have a mac you could give it a try.

Looks like two buildings. Maybe a camp of some sort.

  145. Jillian Says:

    Is it a retreat center?

  146. Hannah Leary Says:

    Oh, I got it, finally!

Daniel, I have a Mac but how do you get the picture into iphoto? ( we just go the computer and am still figuring it out)

Anyways I googled padawan ( I’m sorry, but I didn’t know what it meant) and it means a student or someone trying to learn something. Maybe something like learning from older people who are “jedi”? I don’t know, just guessing.

    Anyways, this is really cool!

  147. Daniel W Says:

If Bear mountain looks some what like clue one. Could we find the area code that Bear Mt. is in. You could look up the area code on google earth. Bear Mt. is in Virginia right?

  148. Hannah Leary Says:

    sorry *got*

  149. John Says:

I’ve been following the comments and if you invert clue 2 or 3 you can see the details in background easier.

  150. Rebecca Turner Says:

Just so you all know, this is definitely not right near PHC, since I live here and we don’t have mountains like this particularly close…it could be VA, but not Purcellville…

  151. Irina H. F. Says:

I was able to lean my laptop screen alll the way back, and it helps in seeing the birds wye view pictures. I can tell that there is some sort of sign or something on top of the main building.

  152. Daniel W Says:

Try just dragging it from the desktop into I photo Hannah L.

  153. Hannah Leary Says:

    Thanks, Daniel!

  154. Brenna Says:

(Having fun with this.) There is a Bear Mountain in New York. If you type in “Bear Mountain Inn” on Google Earth, it looks very much like clue #2.

  155. Katie M. age 13 Says:

    This is driving me nuts!

  156. Brett Harris Says:

You guys have a choice. Would you rather have the next clue be about the NAME of the place or the geographical LOCATION of the place?

Vote with your comments. Later tonight I’ll post a clue based on your votes.

  157. Joel Y. Says:

The location if it is really specific. (i.e. street address) - but a name would be better than a really general location like “The Appalachian Mountains”.

  158. Bella Says:

:D I’m so excited! The wait is difficult!

  159. Daniel W Says:

    I say geographical place

I think it’s in southern New York too Brenna. This is driving me crazy. I’ll post another soon

  160. Hayden Fletcher Says:

    LOCATION

  161. Rebekah W. Says:

Brett here’s my vote: Specific Location

Other than accomplishing promotional popularity (which this is obviously doing well), my Mom said, these posts are keeping us glued to the computer screen…quite unlike the Rebelution. ;) The surprise better be well worth the wait!

  162. Katie M. age 14 Says:

I would definately like a clue about the name.

  163. Irina H. F. Says:

I’m w/ Rebekah W., Brett. Specific Location! And yes, my computer has been on all afternoon, pretty much. and I have checked it more this afternoon than I have all week. =D

  164. Rea Says:

Either/or - doesn’t matter to me - I’ll try to figure out either way.

  165. Jonathan Potter Says:

    Location–like GPS coordinates.

  166. Katie M. age 14 Says:

I am having trouble with the twitter. I am having trouble getting past the “stuck on clues” thing.

  167. Sarah Peña Says:

    I vote name!

This might sound really, really dumb but in the back of the website I see the letters “SUBW” and it looks like they continue but I can’t figure it out what they spell.

The picture makes me think of what Alex and Brett say in “Do Hard Things” about the “mountain top experience”. It probably has nothing to do with anything though…

    This wait is killing me!!!

  168. Marli R. Says:

    @Sarah Pena

I believe the letters stand for Subway, but its not part of the ‘clues’ just the graphic city design =) Good eyes though!

  169. Lexi Says:

    LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!

  170. Brenna Says:

Sarah Pena: I believe the “SUBW,” sign you are referring to says subway.

  171. Daniel W Says:

I think that even though we might get the place located we still have to figure out what they are going to be working together on. Maybe we should just focus on the priority right now and worry about “tomorrow” when it gets here.
Sarah It almost looks like there is another “S” after SUBW. i way be wrong though.

Please Don’t make us stay up all night trying to figure this out Brett. I do have school tomorrow.

This driving me nut. I hope I can get it done b-4 baseball practice. I wouldn’t be able to stand the wait.

  172. tristen Says:

i would definetly vote name of the place. i think from there we might b able to find the location. i dont know.
i am so exited! cant wait!

  173. Hope Says:

OHHH!!! I played around with the link, and read more comments. My first thought was “Oh a camp or a missions type place.” Now I am getting more and more excited! :)

Please give a location hint, Brett! Pretty please! :)

  174. Nick Kjeld... Says:

GPS coordinates would be nice… Location too… My vote is for location so I can then scan Google Earth for it! :-D

  175. Daniel W. Says:

    LOCATION!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!

  176. Irina H. F. Says:

Brett, I am getting addicted to Google Earth. Please, GIVE US A LOCATION!!!! It’s driving me (and everyone else) absolutely nuts. Please?

  177. Daniel W Says:

My eyes are rolling Brett. This is giving me a headache. jk

  178. Daniel Gilman Says:

Hey guys, I am looking forward to this project. It’s been very encouraging the past several years to be walking with so many young people challenging each other to be men and women of God, but this must include walking with our our parents and elders. I think young and old coming together in the service of God is necessary order to avoid what Professor Friedrich Heer said about youth movements that, “”[T]he harsh light of historical fact [is] that every significant youth movement is in its own time crushed by the forces in power, and its spirit frequently perverted or bent to other uses[.]”

As for location, I think it’s it Haiti. My sister lives there, and it sure looks like some of the photos.

  179. Lindsay Says:

It’s just like they say location, location, location!

  180. Daniel Gilman Says:

    Oh and I vote: location

  181. Daniel W Says:

Haiti, That would make sense. twenty29 says Old and young working together. Could they be working together to help provide relief.

But, is Haiti that lush. In that picture it looks super lush. My Dad has been there he said it isn’t lush at all.

  182. Daniel W Says:

Still think it’s NY. I may be totally wrong. I’ll be anxious to se the posts after baseball practice.
(Can’t believe Brett is holding me in suspense…this long)

  183. tristen Says:

wow! do you really think its haiti daniel? i have been wondering what the rebelution could do there recently but i dont see how that ties in with the young and old part. aagh! this is driving me nuts!

  184. Daniel Gilman Says:

I… no longer think it’s Haiti. But hey helping Haiti is still a good hard thing. I recommend it :)

  185. Daniel W. Says:

I don’t think so tristen. Haiti just isn’t that lush.

  186. Rebekah J. Says:

I vote for name :D I’m off to bed now (it’s been a looooong week :P) but I will check back FIRST THING tomorrow morning to find out more!!!

  187. tristen Says:

ya i guess so but i am definitely still wacthing out for ways to help there! :D

  188. Lexi Says:

hmmm my mom and dad are at it too….do you think it could be some type of missions trip?

where are you guys seeing the SUBW thing? I can’t see it at all…even when the pic is in full view….wait a sec…do you guys think it is like a huge church?

man this is going to drive me insane! Brett, I am holding you responsible if i don’t do well on my physics test! lol you two are super genious’! its probably something SOOOO obvious but you make it seem SOO hard!

has anybody else found anything new?

  189. Sarah Haas Says:

    Name! :)

And here’s my theory: this clue was intentionally vague. There were some things we could figure out, but it was designed not to give everything away because it’s not just about the answer; it’s about us and how we’re figuring it out. Clue 2 says, “Very clever, my young padawan. But you are not a jedi yet,” reminding us that no matter how clever we think we are, we’re still young– we’ve still got a long ways to go. We have to admit our own failings and accept the help of an older Christian, just as jedis mentor padawans. And Clue 3 says, “You’ll just have to wait your turn like the others!” We’re all racing one another to be the first to figure it out, but that’s just proving our own youth and immaturity. Twenty29 is teaching us patience by making us wait for the next clue. We’re learning teamwork because we’re all coming together to figure it out. No matter how independent or on top of things each of us might consider him/herself, we don’t have enough information (or we’re not smart enough, haha) to figure everything out yet, so we’re learning dependence and humility. And finally, we know it’s not about us individually because ultimately we’re going to have to wait our turn like the others and find out at the same time as everyone else instead of proving our cleverness. Just a theory, I dunno.

  190. John Says:

    LOCATION

  191. Lexi Says:

hey thats cool Sarah! I was thinking that…but it didnt really have to do with the location…unless Brett and Alex are just playing with our minds. =D

  192. tristen Says:

ya i guess so but i am definitely still wacthing out for ways to help there! :D
i am still exited to see what this ministry is!

  193. jfg Says:

    i agree with sara.

  194. Irina H. F. Says:

Sarah Haas, I wholeheartedly agree with you. (Now why didn’t I think of that 5 hours ago?!?!?!?) I’m going to turn off my computer now, but I will check back in the morning. (PErsonally, I think it’s some random resort/hotel in the appalachian mountains somewhere, but that’s just my opinion.) ;D

  195. Jennifer Says:

    Name, please!

  196. tristen Says:

oops sry i didnt mean to post that twice. =)

i agree with what you said sarah, but i hope we find out soon!

  197. EmPetrie Says:

I think name might be better!

  198. Lindsay Says:

Wait a minute have you guys thought about the Billy Graham Retreat called The Cove, it looks a lot like this from above. Just thinking?

  199. tristen Says:

oooo. Lindsay, I’ve never heard of that retreat. can you post more about it? or maybe a link?

  200. Lexi Says:

OH MY GOODNESS LINDSAY YOU GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its at the Cove!!!

  201. Lexi Says:

    http://www.thecove.org/explorePhotoGallery.aspx

    its the same picture!

  202. Lindsay Says:

here’s the link: http://www.thecove.org/ and google earth this: 1 Porters Cove Road
Biltmore Forest, NC 28803 and go to the right for the view of it.

  203. C.R. Says:

The sooner you give us an explanation the sooner we can all go back to doing hard things as opposed to refreshing this page every two minutes. :-)

Anyway, I vote location as well!!

  204. Sara Says:

My Dad said that the first picture looks like Zambia. (He went there on a missions trip a few years ago.) Am I the only one who thought the trees didn’t look like Appalachian?

  205. Marli R. Says:

    BINGO!!!

  206. Lexi Says:

ahhhh I am sooo happy!!! I got it!!! WHOOT

  207. Katie M. age 14 Says:

    I am going to bed.

  208. Lindsey H. Says:

LINDSAY I AM POSITIVE YOU GOT IT!!!!!

  209. tristen Says:

yay! is that really it Brett?

  210. C.R. Says:

Yep….pic 22 is it! Great sleuthing.

  211. Lexi Says:

lol this is sooo much fun…haha now I think I am so happy I can’t sleep =D

  212. tristen Says:

    lol I totally agree Lexi!

  213. Lindsay Says:

I wish Brett would post something!

  214. Sara Says:

    Hehe. Guess I was wrong.

  215. Lexi Says:

Brett where are you?!?!? We figured it out mister jedi and we need you to tell us if we are right!

  216. tristen Says:

i think we got it but what does it have to do with proverbs 20:23??????

  217. Rebecca Turner Says:

Yes, it’s definitely the Cove…so now we just have to figure out how that could be connected to the Rebelution and Twenty29…

  218. Lexi Says:

haha well, its a retreat center…Proverbs 20:29 sums up they’re new “project”…it doesnt mean it has to do with the place..just the theme.

  219. Rebekah J. Says:

I couldn’t go to bed just yet - not with all these exciting developments!!!!!!!!!!!! The Cove it is - great sleuthing, all of you!!!! Now we just have to figure out what it has to to with Proverbs 20:29……..please oh please oh PLEASE gives us more clues!!!!!!!!!!

  220. Lexi Says:

so, I’m guessing it is another conference at the Cove for older people to build up younger people?

  221. tristen Says:

well the place is about getting away by yourself to grow closer to the Lord right? So maybe growing closer to the Lord with older People? No. I doubt it. I have no idea!!!!!

  222. Lexi Says:

honestly, I have been refreshing this page every 2 minutes for the last hour.

  223. Sarah Peña Says:

    Lindsay, you’ve got it!

    Oh Brett, please post soon!

  224. Lindsey H. Says:

    Same Lexi!!
I don’t really know anything about the Cove… but it’s exciting anyway!!
@Brett: For your sake I hope it’s just as much fun coming up with the clues as it is for us to solve them!!

  225. Lexi Says:

That place is SUPER NICE! I just want to go there to go there! lol

  226. Kay Morris Says:

Oh, goodness! I don’t know…. I guess we picked name you would give us some really impossibly hard to guess one…

    I guess I’ll go with location…

@Brett: I think you should post soon, Brett…. they are dying in here…. ;)

  227. Lexi Says:

Kay, the location is at http://www.thecove.org/

go check out the pics! You might just recognize one…

  228. Lindsey H. Says:

Yeah Brett, we’re dying in here.
Please post soon. Most of us have school tomorrow! ;)

  229. Lexi Says:

haha Brett we’re begging here! ;)

  230. Kay Morris Says:

I just realized that I walked in late on the hunt… I have a bit of digging to do… :)

  231. tristen Says:

please post before tomorrow! I have school too!

  232. Lindsey H. Says:

Don’t worry, Kay. It won’t take long to catch up!

  233. Irina H. F. Says:

You know what, I actually thought it was The Cove HOURS ago, but the picture on GOogle Earth was really lousy, so I thought, maybe not.

  234. Irina H. F. Says:

Yes, I know, I said earlier I was turning off my computer, but I had to see if anyone had figured it out yet.

  235. Dylan Morgan Says:

While we are waiting, what does this most likely mean? What might they be planning to use with Proverbs 20:29 about this?

  236. Sarah Peña Says:

Sarah Haas, what exactly do you mean the second clue says “Very clever, my young padawan. But you are not a jedi yet,” and clue three says “You’ll just have to wait your turn like the others!”. I haven’t seen that yet. Did I miss something? *begins to panic*

  237. bella Says:

Please, update! :D I can’t wait to hear more!

  238. Lexi Says:

I dont think the location has anything to do with the verse…I just think its where Twenty29 is going to take place…I could be wrong but thats just my hunch

  239. Lindsey H. Says:

Irina: We figured it out!!! Now we just need Brett to say something… :D

  240. tristen Says:

anybody have any ideas on what dylan said? im stumped.

  241. Lexi Says:

lol Sarah, you need to tweek the URL of the first clue Brett gave us…there are more clues hiding. Don’t worry, it took me a while too! =)

  242. Lindsey H. Says:

Sarah P: If you haven’t seen the second and third (and fourth and fifth) clues, then yes you did miss something. Look at the picture from earlier and play around with the URL.

  243. Lexi Says:

if you look on The Coves event calender, it does say anything about Brett and Alex or 20:29…..but that does not mean anything…it could just be that the “thing” (whatever that THING is) won’t take place for a while…but they are just telling us now.

  244. tristen Says:

ya, i missed a lot of the clues too

  245. Lexi Says:

    does not*

  246. Lindsey H. Says:

I think Dylan is trying to get us to think about what Alex and Brett are planning to do with twenty29. But I don’t really have any ideas.
And absolutely none that relate to the Cove.

  247. Irina H. F. Says:

Lindsey H.: Indeed, Brett needs to say something. Did we get it right, or are they just pulling my/your leg? :D

  248. Lexi Says:

im just stummed on the whole theme part…like what exactly is it? A conference? A retreat? A tour?

  249. tristen Says:

help! i dont know how to play with urls!

  250. Lexi Says:

brett better not be pulling our leg! haha you guys might have less followers if you say that. JK =D

  251. Lindsey H. Says:

I’m kinda hoping it’s more of an event or project that doesn’t require us to actually go anywhere.

  252. Lauren Ashley Says:

Good grief! I checked this post last night and shut everything down like a normal person, I get up and lo and behold; an Indiana Jones treasure hunt has sprung up on the rebelution! I certainly didn’t see this one coming…

After looking at the clues in picasa, and reading through the confusing macedoine of comments, I have to say good job Lindsay! how did you find the picture?

Since location has become so much clearer, at least, apparently clearer, my vote is for name….

  253. Lindsey H. Says:

tristen, you’re looking for the other picture clues right?

  254. Lexi Says:

Tristen, do you see the first clue Brett gave to us? All you need to do is change the number next to the word “clue_” in the URL and you will see the next clues. Just keep putting in the next number until there isn’t any more

  255. Georgie Says:

I would like to know the name!!! or the place =]. I just want to know more!!!!!!!!

  256. Lindsey H. Says:

And if that doesn’t work (cuz it didn’t for me) make sure there’s no / at the end.

  257. Lexi Says:

hmmm I see what you are saying Lindsey…but why would they show us that picture? Doesn’t make sense…..

  258. Lindsey H. Says:

That last one was an add-on to Lexi’s post to Tristen.

  259. Justin M. Davito Says:

Well, I am suppose to be doing school here, but I also am looking forward to this (maybe a little too much). :)

I say the name of the place!

    -Justin

  260. Lindsey H. Says:

    Lexi: what picture?

  261. Kay Morris Says:

    What were the other clues?

  262. Lindsey H. Says:

    Did you find them Kay?

  263. Lexi Says:

oh wheres Brett? Alex if you are reading these comments…tell your brother our eyes are glued to this page until he posts something!

  264. Lindsey H. Says:

    I second that Lexi!!!

  265. Lexi Says:

the picture in Clue #2 and #3…did you see them?

  266. Justin M. Davito Says:

there is 5 clues in the clue Brett gave…a very very hard clue…only a “jedi apprentice” can figure it out. :D

    -Justin

  267. Lexi Says:

Kay - Go to these links!

    http://therebelution.com/twenty29/clue_2.jpg
    http://therebelution.com/twenty29/clue_3.jpg
    http://therebelution.com/twenty29/clue_4.jpg
    http://therebelution.com/twenty29/clue_5.jpg

  268. Lindsey H. Says:

Justin: Were you being sarcastic or serious about being very very hard?

  269. Lexi Says:

Kay - Go to this link!

    http://therebelution.com/twenty29/clue_2.jpg

  270. Justin M. Davito Says:

I have to give props to “Hannah Marie”…she figured out what this is! It is very exciting!

    -Justin

  271. Justin M. Davito Says:

I thought it was hard! :D You really have to think!

  272. Sarah Peña Says:

Please everyone, stop being so vauge! What are the other clues and how do I find them?

  273. Lexi Says:

wait Justin…who is Hannah Marie? did she comment on here?

  274. Lindsey H. Says:

You really have to think to find the clues? Or about the clues?

  275. Irina H. F. Says:

They’re trying to get us to use our minds, you know, knda, not really, but kinda like in Star Wars:”LUke, use the force, Luke”. Except, in our case, it’s “Rebelutionaries, use your minds which God gave you, Rebelutionaries.” Just a thought. :)

  276. Lindsay Says:

Who is Hannah Marie? And Brett needs to get on here now!

  277. Lexi Says:

Sarah…I tried to upload the links to the other clues for you but it keeps saying my comment is in moderation and won’t be published….maybe you can see them?

  278. Lindsey H. Says:

    Sarah: You to find them!!
Look at the picture Brett posted earlier. It brings you to a link. Part of that link is clue_1. Change the 1 to 2. Tell us if it works!

  279. Lexi Says:

BRETT WE ARE DYING IN HERE

  280. Kay Morris Says:

I saw the pics, and the clues, but I have no idea what it means…

  281. Lindsey H. Says:

Irina: It’s either that or they’re just messing with us!

  282. Lexi Says:

Ok, go to http://www.thecove.com and look at the pictures….do you recognize any of them??

  283. Irina H. F. Says:

I am going to tentatively say that this one blog post has probably gotten the most comments of any other on the rebelution

  284. Lindsey H. Says:

There’s a picture in the background of the second and third clue. It’s a building. We think it’s the Cove.

  285. Lexi Says:

i have a bad feeling we are going in some wrong path that has nothing to do with this….Brett please!!!!!!!

  286. Justin M. Davito Says:

Alright, you guys have seen the clues! “Hannah Marie” is a moderator. But she has not commented–it would ruin the fun! :D

    -Justin

P.S. Instead of use your mind, use your eyes…that probably didn’t help, but it is worth a try.

  287. Lexi Says:

Irina! lol i was just thinking that too!!! hehe

  288. Lindsey H. Says:

I’m going to agree with that Irina. But I’ve only been on here for a few months so I can’t say for sure.

  289. Lexi Says:

Justin…are you talking about the pictures that are behind the clues? Or something totally different? or are you just messin? =)

  290. tristen Says:

I played with the url but it didnt give me anymore infrmation that i didnt know. I am still getting very confused though!!

  291. Sarah Peña Says:

    Okay I got it. Finally… ;)

BRETT PLEASE POST! WE ALL ARE DYING!!!

  292. Lindsey H. Says:

What clues did you get Tristen?

  293. Irina H. F. Says:

http://www.thecove.org/ THis is the place that is in the picture. it HAS to be.

  294. bayer Says:

    wow… this is ridiculous

  295. tristen Says:

Justin what are you talking about I am not following at all.

  296. Lexi Says:

my goodness…..Brett where are you?? we are falling asleep staring at this screen

  297. Lindsey H. Says:

I’m absolutely positive. I have a picture I took from Google Earth and it matches exactly. But I don’t know how to put it in a comment so…

  298. Kay Morris Says:

If it is not the cove, then I don’t know WHAT it could be… that HAS to be it…

  299. Irina H. F. Says:

Buenas Noches, amigos. I’m going to bed. :D

  300. Lexi Says:

Irina, thats the place all right….but the thing we are trying to figure out is what does it have to do with 20:29? Like is it just another clue or the actual place where the “THING” is going to be held?

  301. Kay Morris Says:

Good night, Irina!!! See ya tomorrow!

  302. Lexi Says:

i agree, if its not the place then I give up haha

  303. Lindsey H. Says:

    Brett!!
It’s 10pm here. What is it your time?

  304. Kay Morris Says:

Lexi… that is what I am wondering, too…. that is the ultimate question, is it not? :D

  305. Justin M. Davito Says:

I was just commenting back to Irina… :)

    Sorry if I confused you…

  306. Lindsey H. Says:

That was not to Brett. A question to everyone else. :D

  307. Lexi Says:

Brett and Alex go to College in Virginia..so it would be 10pm where they are too….but they could still be out from holiday break

  308. Lexi Says:

    ohhh its 10 here

  309. Lindsey H. Says:

    Right.
So do we think it’s a “thing” that’s going to be held at the Cove. That doesn’t seem like something big enough to be keeping us all up and going through the trouble of making these clues, but that’s just me.

  310. tristen Says:

Lindsey H: i got up to clue # 5 and all it said was the padawan thing and good sluething. and then “look for the birds eye view” Wich I am guessing is for the picture of the cove building in the first clues. I am so confused! (sry it took so long to reply)

  311. Lexi Says:

yeah i follow you….hmm this is soooo confusing!!!!!!!

  312. Justin M. Davito Says:

Most colleges have started back up already (mine has)…and it is 10PM here too!

  313. Lexi Says:

Tristen - everybody got to clue 5…so you are exactly right! The real stuff to look at was clue 2 and 3…so you are good! =)

  314. Justin M. Davito Says:

Lindsey: You do realize that Alex and Brett like to do some jokes too…so, you never know what to expect. ;)

  315. Lindsey H. Says:

That’s it exactly. That building is the Cove which gives us a location. We need to figure out how it relates to Prov. 20:29

  316. Kay Morris Says:

It’s ten here, too… Justin… are you doing you’re school???

  317. Lexi Says:

ahhh Justin don’t say such things!!! LOL i would die if this was just a joke

  318. Lindsey H. Says:

Justin: This is true. But either way… This seriously made my day.

  319. Kay Morris Says:

This is seriously making my night…. ;)

  320. tristen Says:

I doubt this is a joke. I think we need to stay focused on figuring this out together. (since Brett obviously isnt on)

  321. Lindsay Says:

Brett/Alex post something some of us have school at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, not me though:)

  322. tristen Says:

i am having fun too- but I have to get to bed soon!!!! Hope we can figuer this out!

  323. bayer Says:

I agree with trsiten, we’re wasting time instead of working together to figure this out

  324. Lindsey H. Says:

    Yeah really!!
I have to go to school at 7 am.
    Please post something!!!

  325. Justin M. Davito Says:

    haha…

yes, I am working on school…while wondering what time Brett is going to post.

I don’t think this whole thing is a joke. But wanting us to guess and all is rather humorous!

  326. Lindsey H. Says:

Okay. Let’s try to figure it out.
    Any thoughts?

  327. Lindsey H. Says:

Justin: It is humorous. I love it!! I can’t tell you how much I needed to laugh when I was reading this.

  328. John Says:

Hey Justin, have you read the articles on the Rebelution blog about multitasking? ;)

  329. bayer Says:

ok, so I checked The Cove’s schedule and searched “rebelution,” “twenty29,” and a bunch of other things at their website. nothing

  330. Kay Morris Says:

I am *trying* to get some writing done that I really need to get done, but the suspense is killing both my articles and my story!!!

And yes, it is quite humorous…

  331. tristen Says:

well it is either an event at the cove or a clue to the twenty29 ministy

  332. tristen Says:

    ministrie* sry

  333. Hannah Marie Says:

I have to admit; y’all are making me laugh. And I’m sorry that Justin decided to join in on this and confuse y’all. ;)

  334. Lexi Says:

Alright lets get the facts right….

Picture is of The Cove (North Carolina)
    Verse is Proverbs 20:29

So, it is a one day deal? A conference? A retreat? Or a new movement? The thing I dont get is…if it is just a movement like Do Hard Things, what is with the picture?

  335. Justin M. Davito Says:

John: yes, but I am a guy. :D It’s very difficult! haha

Lindsey: Then, maybe Alex and Brett did this so those who needed to laugh can… :D

  336. Lindsey H. Says:

Kay, good luck! I had planned to get some writing done, but I found it nearly impossible. -Of course I’ve had a block for a few days so this isn’t entirely to blame…

  337. Lexi Says:

*gasps* its Hannah Marie!!! lol i bet we are quite humorous because it it most likely something so very simple….

  338. Justin M. Davito Says:

    Thanks Hannah! ;)

  339. Kay Morris Says:

Ahhh… so the lovely Hannah Marie is on…. *hugs* *raises an eyebrow in hope of some help* Please!!! Pretty Please!!! :D

  340. Lindsey H. Says:

Did we think that the first picture-the one with the link on this page- was important? Did we find out when that was?

  341. Kay Morris Says:

Lindsey, I had no writer’s block till now… Thanks, Alex and Brett! =P

  342. Lexi Says:

i think it is just a different picture from The Cove…its hard to look it up because Brett changed the link address to it….

  343. John Says:

Justin: I know, I am trying to get in bed, but I can’t pull myself away from this page. :)

  344. tristen Says:

i am trying to do chores, think and comment at the same time lol talk about do hard things!

  345. Sara Says:

Justin said that only a jedi apprentice could figure it out. Does that mean that there is something besides the obvious on/in clue 2?

  346. Lindsey H. Says:

He did? Oh. Okay. So do we have any ideas?

  347. Lexi Says:

you know….if Brett and Alex are not back in college yet from the holidays, they are 3 hours behind us…which means he would not be getting on here for a couple more hours….

  348. Alesia Says:

*Tries to catch breath* Now that I have finished reading the 250 plus comments that have been made since my post last night, time for my comment ;)

“Brett: You guys have a choice. Would you rather have the next clue be about the NAME of the place or the geographical LOCATION of the place?”

    Hmm…well I think I’d prefer a name, I’m better with names then locations =P

    God Bless
    Alesia

  349. Lexi Says:

lol I know! its a star wars themed conference! =D

  350. Alesia Says:

Yeah Lexi, I am the same time zone as them (I’m pretty sure. My friends live in Oregon too and they are in my time zone) and it’s only 7:20 pm here. =)

  351. Lindsey H. Says:

    Star wars??

  352. Hannah Marie Says:

Oh Kay! I’ve been on here watching everyone since… a long time ago. :D

Help? Really? What kind of help could I ever offer? Mmmm….

  353. Kay Morris Says:

LOL, Lexi… with Alex and Brett, you never know! ;)

  354. Lexi Says:

oh man! well, lets start praying that Brett has this sudden urge to go check the page early!

  355. Lindsey H. Says:

So either they’re in our time zone or Alesia’s.
    Welcome to the conversation Alesia!

  356. Kay Morris Says:

Okay, Hannah, if you have, then can you PLEASE get on either of the forums, or IM, please??? I’ve been wanting to chat with you anyway. :D

  357. Lexi Says:

LOL Hannah! haha would bribes work at this point? ;)

  358. Kristin Carr Says:

Hmm…well, I have my theories of what it all means. But we shall see. :)

  359. Justin M. Davito Says:

    Lexi…that’s funny…

Sorry, I didn’t mean to confuse you. I was just going off one of their clues. I don’t have all the answers. I think I know just about as much as you do.

If we think it is the cove, how does it connect to the verse and the Rebelution?

    -Justin

  360. Jonathan Potter Says:

Billy Graham has been mentioned here before…
    http://www.therebelution.com/blog/2006/10/rebellion-vs-rebelution/

  361. Lexi Says:

Justin - thats what i was thinking too…but why the pictures of it then?

  362. tristen Says:

justin, that is what were trying to figuir out but we get sidetracked!

  363. Sarah Says:

I’m in the same time zone as Brett if he is still in Oregon. It’s 7:23 here.

Hey, everyone with a Twitter account: Lets send Brett a mass direct message telling him to post soon! ;) Forgive me, Brett! :)

  364. Lexi Says:

haha I am so afraid to go to sleep now because in the morning there will be 3000 more comments and Bretts will be hidden somewhere in them!!

  365. Lindsey H. Says:

Does it have to connect to the Rebelution. Obviously it connects to the verse and there are endless possibilities of how.

  366. Kay Morris Says:

Maybe a Billy Graham conference for the Rebelutionaries…??? ;)

  367. bayer Says:

    thats true Lexi…. great

  368. John Says:

I know. I have school in the morning. haha

  369. Hannah Marie Says:

    Kay: Yahoo :)

Lexi: No, brides definitely don’t work. That’s cheating. :P

Kristin: Theories such as your’s may be good. :)

  370. Lindsey H. Says:

Lexi: at the rate this is going, if we go to sleep now, there won’t be a chance of finding Brett’s comment. Once I go to sleep, I can’t check until at least 9 pm tomorrow.

  371. Alesia Says:

    Thank you. =)

I actually didn’t know there were ‘clues’ until coming back to read new comments. So you can imagine my shock to see over 300 comments! O.o

  372. Lexi Says:

lol…thats it. I guess it is settled then…we all stare at this screen until Brett comes on here…*eyes droop*

  373. bayer Says:

haha I’m homeschooled so I guess I have an advantage

  374. tristen Says:

it took me a while to read the link Jonathan put but it didnt seem to say anything about he cove

  375. Kay Morris Says:

Hannah, I’ve been on Yahoo watching for you! ;)

  376. Justin M. Davito Says:

But if it is a Billy Graham conference, how will the old men teach us young teens?–how would that look practically?

  377. Lindsey H. Says:

    Let me get this straight:
So Hannah does have the answers?

  378. John Says:

bayer: Yeah me too. Gotta love it. :)

  379. tristen Says:

    Cheaters!!!!

  380. Justin M. Davito Says:

Hannah has theories…but we all know what she knows (for the most part). She thinks she has made connections…

I bet Brett will post at 11:59pm…

  381. Lexi Says:

    i guess so…

Hannah: do you know what they are up to?

    Bayer: i’m homeschooled too!!! =)

Justin: but isn’t that their whole theme…is older people teaching us? hmmm but aren’t we supposed to be teaching them also?

    thoughts?

  382. bayer Says:

my friends call me a “fake student” haha

  383. Hannah Marie Says:

Lindsey: Not absolute answers. Ask Brett for those.

  384. John Says:

tristen: Hey, I don’t cheat. Alex and Brett were homeschooled too you know.

  385. Sarah P. Says:

    Great job Lindsay! :D

Wow! I leave for a few hours and this really took off!

I vote name, but I can see location is much more poplular!

You’re doing a great job with the suspense Brett! I’m checking this first thing in the morning! Haha this makes me think of that sermon Joshua Harris did on how we are all so caught up in technology. ;)

    ‘Night!

    Sarah

  386. Kay Morris Says:

With all his wonderful, Godly, insightful wisdom!!! Isn’t that what this is all about??? Helping us to do the Hard Things by teaching us. And you would be amazed at what the elderly can do… I know an 83 year old that jogs and swims and she’s in great shape…

  387. tristen Says:

    yay for homeschoolers!!! (like me!)

  388. Lexi Says:

i think we should all get off of here….(then all get right back on) and go to sleep! ;)

  389. Alesia Says:

Maybe we should all do a hard thing and leave the blog? lol. Maybe that’s what he is waiting for. =)

  390. Justin M. Davito Says:

    Haha, very true Sarah!

  391. tristen Says:

    Lol good point Alesia!!

  392. Kay Morris Says:

Lexi, you are hilarious… Alesia, maybe you are right… I think I *may* go watch Basil Rathbone in Sherlock Holmes…

  393. Lindsey H. Says:

Then the big question is what time zone is Brett in if he’s gonna post at 11:59 pm??? :D

  394. Lexi Says:

lol this is seriously hilarious….do you think Brett has not posted yet because he is still going through the 300 comments that are still growing by the second?

  395. John Says:

Sorry, Tristen. I think I took your comment wrong. :)

  396. tristen Says:

hehe its ok- i am just very exited to get some answeres!

  397. Lexi Says:

Kay - lol thanks. I tend to get pretty wacked out at about 10pm….so yeah…its past that time haha

  398. Lindsey H. Says:

Lexi: they are growing by the second!!!

  399. John Says:

    Alesia: Great point! lol

  400. Lindsey H. Says:

    And it’s 400 now, not 300.

  401. Sara Says:

lol. Lexi’s probably right! My mouse has become attached to the refresh button.

  402. bayer Says:

    400

  403. Justin M. Davito Says:

He is probably in Eastern…which mean it is 10:35pm right now…That is my educated guess.

  404. Kay Morris Says:

Lexi… you may be right… we should quite commenting…

  405. Lexi Says:

*goes on knees* God please make Brett’s legs miraculously move to his computer and see the pain we are in! Amen

  406. Lindsey H. Says:

So should we all quite commenting and keep refreshing and hope Brett comments before we all turn 80?

  407. Lexi Says:

ok at 10:40pm I will be cliking that awful red X button *gasps*

    “do hard things….do hard things…”

  408. John Says:

    Lindsey H: haha! lol

  409. tristen Says:

i agree with lexi - so why cant I stop commenting!!???

  410. Sarah Says:

Alesia, LOL! You’re probably right! I’m going to do a hard thing!

  411. Lexi Says:

LOL Lindsey!! haha I am laughing so hard at all of these comments

  412. John Says:

Hurry up Brett! :) I’m about to go to bed.

  413. Becca Smith Says:

Wow! I come and find I missed all the fun of figuring everything out for myself! But I agree with Lindsay, the location is definitely the Cove!

    I vote name, Brett!

  414. Lexi Says:

    must not panic…must not panic

  415. Justin M. Davito Says:

Lindsey, then we would be teaching the young ones… So, maybe this is a long term plan where we will teach the future generation what we have learned. *sarcasm* :D

  416. tristen Says:

my last comment- im just going to refresh now! Brett PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!!!!!!!

  417. Sara Says:

haha. Only one more minute, Lexi.

  418. Hannah Marie Says:

Well, all you anxious people, I’m going to bed. Hopefully Brett will post soon so you all can get a good nights rest. Blessings! :)

  419. Lindsey H. Says:

    Last comment…
    Still watching…
    Come on Brett…
    Please.

  420. Lexi Says:

*dies* goodnight fellow Rebelutionaries….may the force be with you!!!

  421. Christine Peh Says:

    Hi friends,

I followed the Lexi’s and Lindsay’s link to the Cove.
Here’s a print screen shot of the exact image in clue 2.

    http://bit.ly/8X9vGv

If we already know the name of the place and the location, can you give us another clue, Brett? :)

  422. Kay Morris Says:

    Night Hannah! *hugs*

  423. Justin M. Davito Says:

Good night Hannah, but we will know before you. :P

So, I think we all think it has something to do with the cove and that has older men teaching us…

  424. Justin M. Davito Says:

Christine, I think Brett is dumbfounded that we know so much… :)

  425. Camden McAfee Says:

    The Cove
    Porters Cove Road
    Biltmore Forest, NC 28803

Is there more to the clue than that?

    Camden

    P.S. Gotta love Central Time!

  426. Brett Harris Says:

I can neither confirm nor deny, except to say:

    http://www.therebelution.com/twenty29/name.jpg

  427. bayer Says:

    what?!?!?!?!

  428. Brett Harris Says:

And sorry for the long delay. =P

Let’s just say that I was helping Alex move furniture into his and Courtney’s new apartment and I had no idea how dedicated and passionate you guys were about this. ;)

Thanks for your enthusiasm. This is REALLY fun. =D

  429. Justin M. Davito Says:

Brett, you have to give us more than that…

  430. Lindsey H. Says:

    Brett: WHAT IS THAT???!!

  431. C.R. Says:

A goat and a graham cracker????

  432. Sarah Says:

    “BILLY GRAHAM!” Thanks Brett!

  433. Lindsey H. Says:

    Ohhh. But seriously?
    Don’t we get another clue?

  434. Kristin Carr Says:

    Hahaha…oh, that was good. :)

  435. Justin M. Davito Says:

I guess that is a good excuse, Brett!

But what does a donkey and a cracker have in common?

  436. Camden McAfee Says:

Wow, I seriously almost burst out laughing when I saw that. Again, however, the web-address seems to give a little to much away Brett….

    Camden

P.S. I saw the comments go from 300 to 425 in fifteen minutes!

  437. bayer Says:

nice!! now I can sleep in peace

  438. Becca Smith Says:

Brett: billy goat, graham cracker…. Billy Graham! It is definitely the Cove, then! Yay!

  439. C.R. Says:

Oh my goodness you’re right! Smart thinking!!!

Billy the goat and a graham cracker - of course.

  440. Alesia Says:

What is fun Brett? Watching all of us squirm around waiting with anticipation for a responce? LOL.

Well that sounds like a fun time! I mean, who doesn’t love to move furniture right? =)

ahaha…I just totally got Goat cheese in my head from that pic, i have NO idea why!?

  441. Kay Morris Says:

Thanks Brett! They all have the same name, right?

  442. Sarah Says:

It’s not a donkey! :) It’s a billy goat and a graham cracker. Get it?

    LOL! Brett, you’re awesome!

  443. Kay Morris Says:

    Billy Graham!!!

  444. Justin M. Davito Says:

    Camden,

    what are you thinking?

  445. Alesia Says:

*SMACKS HEAD* Okay, now I feel REALLY stupid >.<

  446. Kay Morris Says:

    It is SO BILLY GRAHAM!!!!

  447. Christine Peh Says:

    Awesome, Sarah. :)

    next clue… next clue…

  448. Kay Morris Says:

I got my comment in late…. should have refreshed… it must be a conference with him… I KNEW IT!!!!!

  449. tristen Says:

yay now i can sleep in peace - goodnight everyone!

  450. Alesia Says:

Honestly Brett..how can you sleep with yourself knowing so many NICE people are hanging by a thread..? =P

  451. Kay Morris Says:

We must be the padawan and he must be the Jedi… maybe….

  452. Justin M. Davito Says:

Wow! I feel kinda blonde! Is there a way to delete a comment? :)

Yes, Brett confirmed the cove is the place…I think! :D

  453. tristen Says:

please post more clues in the morning Brett!

  454. Camden McAfee Says:

    Justin,

All I’m really thinking is how Brett gave us a choice between a name and a location, and we gave him both!

    Camden

P.S. A few people even picked up on the name before that was thrown in there too!

  455. Alesia Says:

    Justin M. Davito: hahah..try BEING blonde =P
I’m seriously like….as blonde as they come..

  456. Jordan Elizabeth Says:

Man, I haven’t been able to comment at all! (our internet connection) and every time I refresh there are about five more comments!

Mean, that’s all I can say about this whole thing :D

Anyway, I gotta get off the computer, bedtime ya know. I guess ‘mean’ isn’t all I can say, ‘very exciting’ would work too.

At least I won’t be awake all night with suspense…

    Jordan Elizabeth

  457. Kay Morris Says:

I am off for the night!!! Bye ya’ll!!! :D

  458. Daniel W. Says:

    Some type of training/
    facilty.

  459. Justin M. Davito Says:

    I see Camden.

Here is my observation. He gave us the “name” as that is the name of the file. So, maybe it is not the cove. But something different?

If you try to shorten the link and end at “twenty29″…you get the error message that says, “forbidden”…This must be top secret!

    -Justin

  460. Sarah Says:

Good night all you wonderful brothers and sisters (and detectives) in Christ! :)

  461. Daniel W. Says:

young and old= parents and teens another 2010 confernece?! yay at the Billy graham center/cove

  462. Daniel W. Says:

    signing off for the night….Zzzzzzzzz

  463. Alesia Says:

Daniel: If that’s what it is then boo =(
Sometimes I really dislike being Canadian…

  464. Becca Smith Says:

Well, this was exciting! It was fun watching y’all freak out! Of course, where I am it is only 8:14, so I had plenty of time! I can’t wait for the next clue! I’ll check back tomorrow!

  465. Amanda Howell Says:

Loved the last clue! That was great! :-)

  466. Camden McAfee Says:

    Justin,

Yes… a file so secret, I have to wonder how you knew about it…. ;D

Perhaps there’s more to the name “Goat Cracker” than meets the eye? The red background, perhaps? Or maybe the Graham Cracker, because I’ve never seen one cut into four pieces like that! Or maybe…! I need to go to bed. =)

    Camden

  467. Justin M. Davito Says:

    Very funny Sarah…

    Good night Daniel!

  468. Alesia Says:

Maybe the red represents Christs blood? I’m not sure, just throwing ideas out there.
Or maybe..MAYBE it is red for the Canadian flag =D
    haha,

  469. C.R. Says:

Looks like our work here is done….

    We’ll see what tomorrow holds!

  470. Justin M. Davito Says:

    Camden,

I was just trying to see what I could find…and I have been denied access. :(

I am not too good at this. It really is top secret.

Did Brett go to bed? It may be a good idea!?!

  471. Camden McAfee Says:

    Amen.

    Camden

*Grumbing (but not complaining, Justin!)* I’m reading from Job tonight. Job never had to read 470 comments! (But he sure did listen to plenty!)

  472. Justin M. Davito Says:

    Camden,

    :D That’s funny!

Well, I am taking off. I hope I can find my spot tomorrow morning! :D

  473. Kay Morris Says:

LOL, Camden, you just got a smile out of me for that one!!! ;)

  474. Rea Says:

This is worse than any suspense novel I’ve ever read (and that includes ones by Peretti and Dekker) and any suspense movie I’ve seen.

    AHHHH!!! The suspense!!!

  475. Melinda Says:

WOW! You guys are getting it!

  476. Anissa Says:

    Well this is exciting!

  477. Lexi Says:

AHHHHHH I go to bed and Brett posts minutes later!!!! ;)

whoot you guys rock! Billy Graham. lol at first I was like….what is that?

  478. Lindsey H. Says:

    Me too!!
Hopefully this won’t fill up too much while I’m at school.

  479. Alex Says:

I think the Rebelution is trying to drum up their website w/ lots of comments for the search engines to see :).

  480. Alex Says:

    Photo 22 of 34 here: http://www.thecove.org/explorePhotoGallery.aspx

Billy Graham, and more Billy Graham…

  481. Felicity Says:

Maybe it’s, Read for Billy Graham…?

(Going off Camden’s suggestion. - Red, four, billy, graham [cracker])

  482. Rebecca Turner Says:

In their post about turning twenty (http://www.therebelution.com/blog/2008/10/turning-twenty-october-28-2008/) they mentioned an event in 2011–

“We want to provide a platform for other rebelutionaries and connect them with the resources, mentors, and opportunities they need to make their visions come alive. We’re already working on a new event — slated for 2011 — that will bring together all of those pieces.”

So this is almost definitely an event–a retreat at the Cove is probably a good guess…

  483. Sarah Beth Says:

Go to pictures 3 and 22 in the photo gallery on the coves website. They match the first two clues exactly.

  484. Sarah P. Says:

Lol that was a good clue! At first I was like what? then I laughed! :D

But yeah what does the red stand for?

    Sarah

  485. Laura V. Says:

Very creative clues, Brett!! ;) I’m really looking forward to this project! It’s going to ROCK!! :D

  486. Lindsay Says:

So was it the cove this is so awesome if it is!!! I am so glad we guessed it earlier!

  487. Justin M. Davito Says:

Good connection Rebecca! That is a very good guess!

Did Brett say when he would confirm our guesses…or are we going to get more hints for a while?

    -Justin

  488. Daniel W Says:

Alesia, I live in Illinois and I have only been to New York once to play baseball.

If it is that the boo:(

  489. Lexi Says:

The Cove in in North Carolina…errgg if it is there I really want to go…

  490. Lexi Says:

lol last night was so hetic on here! we were all going crazy

  491. Hannah Y. Says:

Seriously guys - 486 responses?? I’ll never be able to read all of them and find the clues!! =) just kidding. So it’s got something to do with a Cove (is this Sandy Cove??)…and the clue on Facebook involves a goat and crackers…and it’s [insert book of the Bible here] 20:29…

  492. Lindsay Says:

Hannah, The Cove is with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. And the verse is Proverbs 20:29. Go here to learn more about The Cove: http://www.thecove.org/

  493. Lindsay Says:

Guys maybe this is the seminar that Brett is wanting to go to at the cove: http://www.thecove.org/event.aspx?eventid=504&typeid=1

  494. Hannah Y. Says:

    Proverbs 20:29? Unleavened bread and a ram?? I really don’t know… =)

  495. Lindsay Says:

Everybody look here: http://www.thecove.org/page.aspx?pageid=48 You can host your own event at the Cove. I bet Brett is going to host an event there. What do you think?

  496. Lindsay Says:

Opps Hannah Y. I said it was in Charlotte, The Cove is in Asheville, NC.
By the way the ram is a Billy Goat, and the unleavened bread is a Graham Cracker, hence, Billy Graham Cove. Hope this helps you!

  497. Em Says:

omgosshh hahaha… and i thought i was gonna be able to read all these comments…
    So proverbs 20:29
    Billy Graham…
    and something about a cove… or something…
aggghhh Brett! just tell us! :D

  498. Lindsay Says:

Em The Cove is located in Asheville, NC, here is their website: http://www.thecove.org/

  499. Em Says:

dude.. i posted a comment and by the time mine posted there was ten more….

  500. Camden M. Says:

    Hannah,

If you look far enough up, you’ll find your answer. Also, don’t worry about over-complicating it. Just think “Goat” + “Cracker.” =)

    Camden

  501. Lindsay Says:

Come on everyone lets get some comments going on here!

  502. Camden M. Says:

Hey Brett, thanks for the clue, but I prefer the chocolate flavored ones myself! =D

    http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/sA84nLUTl6LHxWYnQSwjWg?feat=directlink

    Camden

  503. Lindsay Says:

What do you hope to be able to do and experience with Twenty29?
How do you think that this will help others and bring together teens to become rebelutionaries?
How do you think that we will be partnered will older, more experienced people, and how will we teach each other and reach people for Christ?

  504. Kay Morris Says:

Lindsay… by the time this is throuh, there will probably be over 1,000 comments. We did almost 400 in one day… just think of the possibilities…. this blog post will needs its own page… lol ;)

  505. Irina H. F. Says:

Well, I guess I should have tried to stay up a little later last night. I looked at the picture before I read the rest of the comments and I totally did not figure it out the first time I looked at it. lol! This has been so much fun, now I’m really excited about this.

I just want to know what the event is going to be that we are all getting so excited about! ;)

Anyways, can’t wait to see what that next clue is going to be! :D

  506. Kay Morris Says:

Maybe it’s some sort of Billy Graham training thing…. for Rebelutionaries, of course…

or, maybe we will be doing projects under the wise leadership of Billy Graham…

    Proverbs 20:29
The glory of young men is their strength,
And the splendor of old men is their gray head…

or in other words, their wisdom and experience. Now… I am just thinking to myself here… feel free to think along and correct me if I need it…

  507. Martin Says:

wow. so this is what happens when i forget to check the sight for a few days :O

I’m the 502 comment. (at least i was last time i refreshed it :D) keep up the good work computer hackers. I’m not that good at it myself but i try :D (ok i know “computer hackers” sounds kind of harsh but i dont know what else to call them)

    nice pic camden lol

I can feel were getting really close to the answer now. Please post more hints soon!!!

  508. Becca Smith Says:

So people are wondering what the red background stands for… Billy Graham on red, turn that into reb, rebelution! Billy Graham on the Rebelution! Some event at The Cove where Billy Graham passes on his wisdom to us rebelutionaries?

  509. Rea Says:

Irina, I didn’t get the clue either. It’s ok.

  510. Lexi Says:

my word 500 comments! I couldn’t believe it when we got up to 400 last night

sooo we keep saying to give our thoughts…but what else is there to think about? We know its the Cove NC and Billy Graham was the last clue….

I guess we are all just stuck on what twenty29 will be..like a retreat, tour, conference…like that?

hmmm i dunno this is tough stuff now

  511. Sir Emeth Mimetes Says:

This was fun to read and muse upon. With a tiny bit of sleuthing assisted by all of your frantic labor (and a little inside information let slip a while back), I now know what is going on very nicely. Adios!

  512. Joanna Says:

Well, I saw the same picture on the Billy Graham Cove website, so I’m guessing it has something to do with that, as some of you have said. Exciting!

  513. Irina H. F. Says:

    iwantanotherclueiwantanotherclueiwantanotherclue.

Sorry, couldn’t resist that little spaz attack. ;)

Serioiusly, though, another clue, please? =)

  514. Becca Smith Says:

I think we got it all figured out, Irina! An event at The Cove with Billy Graham, perhaps in 2011!

  515. Martin Says:

I’m with Irina, we need another clue!! I mean, Cmon Brett! the more hints you give the more posts you get ;D (not that we need any more lol) anyway another clue would really be nice so….please….another one…..soon?……PLEEEAAASE!!

ok, I’m done now :) i dont think we can get more clues without getting really close to what is actually going to happen

  516. Lydia D. Says:

    Wow over 500 comments!
Just a thought: maybe they’re going to add Billy Graham as a speaker in their conferences.
Another thought: Does anyone know about a project that Billy Graham is starting or going to start? Because Alex and Brett mention young people having the energy and passion that older people don’t.

  517. Rea Says:

The minute we think we have it figured it, is the minute we realize how little we really know.

  518. Kathy Says:

I just logged on from my twitter account… you people are determined!!!

Anyways, I think the padawan comment means it must be a teaching type thing where we are going to be given the opportunity to raise our level of understanding about the Bible, God etc. through our elders…

  519. Hannah Leary Says:

Wow! what a lot of comments! Great clue, Brett! It sounds like everyone got it figured out! But, still what’s the next clue? Please tell ASAP! This all is really exciting!

  520. Irina H. F. Says:

Totally agree with you, Rea. That’s why I want another clue. ;D

  521. Daniel W. Says:

Do you think maybe Billy Graham will be teaching at one of their conferences. Just an idea. Or their going to do another conference in NC with Billy Graham being one of the speakers.

  522. Daniel W. Says:

i thought being glued on the computer wasn’t a hard thing. I found out I was wrong last night when I stayed up until 10:30. My eyes still hurt jk
PPPPLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEE Brett post another comment soon.

  523. Daniel W. Says:

I would love to see How Brett is cracking with laughter at us about this. He’s probably laughing his eyes out.

  524. Rea Says:

I agree with Daniel W. - he probably is laughing his head off - I would if I were in his shoes

  525. John Says:

Probably is. We’re probably pretty humorous. :)

  526. Joseph Says:

Mabey it will be like the Cristian film festival, only for rebelutionaries. You know, like a practical, on hands training (the stuff their new book is about) under the leadership of Billy Graham. The conferances so far have mostly been the whole ideas and philosophy of “do hard things”, and not really emphasising the nuts and bolts of being a rebelutionary. Perhaps, this is a conferance of connecting older and younger generations, and maximizing thier potential, with a more practical emphasis. Just an idea, but it would make sence because of thier new book.

  527. Sarah Beth Says:

Could it be a conference at the cove with Billy Graham and other people who are older that us inparting their wisdom to us, and maybe then working on some sort of project?

Brett, please give us the next clue!!!!!

    Clues:
    Verse~ Proverbs 20:29
Picture of~ The Cove outside of Asheville, NC
Picture of~ (Billy) goat + (Graham) Cracker = Billy Graham
    Word~ Padawan meaning student

  528. Jeneva Says:

Ahhh!!! The suspense!! Tell us already Brett!!

  529. Brett Harris Says:

    http://www.therebelution.com/blog/2010/01/what-is-twenty29/

  530. Lindsay Says:

Guys he posted another clue on the new blog post go check it out!

  531. Christy Says:

Do you know what it is?

  532. John Says:

Why don’t we move over to the other blog post’s comment section to discuss the next clue.

  533. Kay Morris Says:

    John… that is a superb idea…

  534. Christy Says:

But I don’t get the clue! AHHH!

  535. bella Says:

  536. Michelle =D Says:

  540. Beth Says:

What exactly is this? I don’t understand. :)

  541. Paula J Says:

  542. another leah Says:

  545. Madeleine Says:

I and my brother really need help

  546. Jessica Says:

Ok, so how do I find the first clue, or where is it? What I understand is, there are these clues that lead us to understanding what twenty29 is. That’s it. Where doe sit start?

  547. David D. Says:

  554. Tayler H. Says:

    I’m with Elizabeth Kelley though!

  555. Emma H. Says:

This exactly what we need. You guys are helping to bridge a gap between generations. Thaks so much ….

  556. Leanne Says:

lol… I have just been reading some of these posts, I am completely lost, but it looks like people have been learning a lot about patients!
Can’t wait to see what this is all about :)

  557. Lindsey H. Says:

If you’re coming in late on this, look at the next post. We moved the discussion over there so no one’s checking this out anymore. Just check out some of the last comments and I’m sure you’ll understand as the summary has been repeated many times :)

  558. Joshua M. Says:

I think this is an amazing idea! this is just great i love it

  559. Alexander Says:

This is perfect! Finally a movement that will bring teens and adults together to glorify God and work in harmony.

  560. Channing Says:

Wow, that was fun even though I got here late and apparently only solved it on the last clue.. I really love doing riddles and puzzles like that and would have enjoyed the whole game, but still!! Nice work everyone. :]

And to Brett & Harris, you two are very clever!

  561. Kayla G Says:

I love this idea! I have been praying for the Rebelution and am interested in getting involved. I absolutely loved the book “Do Hard Things.” It has definitely changed my outlook on many aspects in llife. I am trusting in the Lord that He will help me to do great, hard things for His glory !

  562. Channing Says:

Whoops– Meant to say Brett & Alex Harris!!
