The Rebelution Tour 2011

Many of you have emailed us to ask about locations for the 2011 conference tour. Well, the wait is over! Below is the official (tentative) list of dates and locations:

  • Orlando, FL — June 18, 2011
  • Philadelphia Williamsport, PA — June 25, 2011
  • San Diego, CA — July 9, 2011
  • Portland, OR — July 30, 2011
  • Kansas City, KS — August 6, 2011
  • Indianapolis, IN — August 27, 2011
  • Baton Rouge, LA — September 17, 2011
  • We think the 2011 conferences will be amazing. We’re excited to return to two cities where we had incredible conferences in past years, and we’re excited to bring the tour to five new cities — including Orlando and Williamsport Central PA!

Of course, all of these dates and cities are subject to change. We’re hard at work to nail down details, sign contracts with facilities, and recruit local teams. If you’d like to help out, please email us at info [at] therebelution [dot] com.

Keep checking back over the next several weeks for confirmed dates and locations, as well as registration. We’ll update the website as soon as we have those details.

    2011 and Beyond

Since the first conference in 2006, over 50,000 teens, parents, and youth workers have gathered to be inspired by a message and a movement that is so much bigger than any of us. This year marks our fifth annual tour — possibly the last.

This is not to say that the Rebelution is coming to an end. Doing conferences has been an incredible privilege for both of us. We’ve been able to work with rebelutionaries across the country, spread the “do hard things” message to thousands of our peers, and see God change hundreds and hundreds of lives.

But we always knew that the day would come when God would call us to step into new seasons and new challenges — continuing to “do hard things” and live out the message of the Rebelution by building on the foundation we laid in the teen years.

But the Rebelution isn’t over. At each of the conferences this year, we’re going take some time to talk about the future, for us and you. Whether you’re entering the teen years or leaving them behind, we hope you’ll join us as we strategize about the future of the movement — and the future of our generation.

    Hope to see you there!

Whatever direction you men take, I hope and pray it goes well for you and according to God’s plan. Thank you for what you’ve done!

    2. Dakota Says:

Looks like a great lineup (even though I wish you could return to St. Louis)! While I’m saddened to hear that this will likely be your last tour, I trust that God has great things in store for the two of you. Thanks for the great conferences, and for giving so much of yourselves over the past several years. May God richly bless you for it.

    3. Becky Says:

Sounds great…I wish there was one in New York State, though! :P I would love to attend…well, we’ll see :)

    4. Katrina Says:

Maybe I’ll be able to make it this year, since you’re coming a whole hour closer to me. ;) It’s been way too long since I’ve seen you guys!

    5. Esther Says:

Oh sad! I was really hoping there’d be one in Minneapolis or Duluth! I know tons of people who would go. The closest for me is Indiana, but that’s really far.

    6. Noelle Garnier Says:

      :o No Washington, D.C. conference?

As of now, it doesn’t look like there’s one coming to my area, but I will still pray about possibly finding a way to come volunteer at one of these events. It’s been a dream of mine to come work with a local team for The Rebelution and this might be my last chance. We’ll see what God has in store.

    7. Lacey Says:

God bless. Thank you for doing what you do. It’s been almost two years since I read “Do Hard Things” and it still challenges me. I am blessed because you did what God called you to do.

    8. Hannah D. Says:

OH my goodness, I’m SO glad you’re coming to OR this year (even though I live in WA) because that means I’ll finally be able to make it to one!!! I have heard so many wonderful wonderful things about the conference and I’m really really stoked to be able to come!!!

    9. Sarah Ann Says:

to bad your aren’t coming internationaly.
Hope you have a great and fantastic year!
I know God is going to bless these confrence.
God Bless You guys for starting this

    10. Genelizette Says:

God bless you brothers! We, Filipino Rebelutionaries do not forget you in our prayers. We want to thank you guys for starting this cause. I will never forget the life lessons and the wisdom that you have shared with us. You guys are a great blessing to us.. Although you weren’t able to go here in the Philippines we always keep in our hearts the message of Do Hard Things. Ate Christin Alvarez, Ate Alyssa Chua, I and my fellow Filipino rebelutionaries do our best to share the message of Do Hard Things in our country. :)

    11. John Bond Says:

Sounds like some grim news, but we’ll just keep trucking. Wish you’d come to North Carolina though. Thanks for an awesome ride you guys, I hope it never ends.

    12. Hannah Says:

I’m so glad that you guys are coming to OR! I might be able to come to it this year!

    13. Mark Hutchins Says:

Looks like it’s going to be an awesome tour, guys!

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven”
      -Ecclesiastes 3:1

Maybe next year there needs to be some sort of “mini-conference” initiative? :-)

    14. Sarah Beth Says:

I agree with John Bond. I wish you would come to North Carolina. But I got to go to Atlanta last year, and I am very glad. It sounds as if it was my last opportunity.

Whatever happens with the conference tour, God is using you guys. If His plans for your lives mean ending the conferences, by all means do it. All you can do is follow God where He takes you, and we rebelutionaries will continue with or without the conferences. Doing what God wants you to is most important, and if you allow Him to take you where He wants you, we will all be blown away with what He does. God bless you guys!

    15. Andie Says:

Your FINALLY coming to KC!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAY! :D!!!! Sad to hear this is could be the last year though… :(

    16. Emily Says:

Looking forward to the SD conference! It will be my first one attending and helping!!!!!!!

    17. Alesha Says:

I am really sorry to hear that this is possibly the last tour. I got to go w/ some friends and our moms to the Chicago conference in 2009 and it was life-changing for all of us. Since then we’ve really started living out the “do hard things” message in our lives and committed all we do with our lives for Christ like never before. I’m so thankful that I was able to participate then, since it was my first but probably last one.

I can’t thank you guys enough for taking that step and letting God speak through you to so many kids, teens, and adults. Imagine all of the lives that might still be in darkness if you hadn’t acted on what God was telling you? I’m so thankful!
Though He might be closing this door, He will open up another one that will lead you through many more experiences! It’s all a part of His plan that is good, pleasant, and perfect.

I pray God blesses and uses you guys like never before!

      In Christ,
      ~Alesha
      Gal 1:10

    18. Kara Says:

    19. Abby Says:

YAHOOO :) Y’all decided to visit the city of brotherly love! I am so going to get my youth group to get together and try and go!!! And even if that doesn’t work, I have relatives in Philly area. Thanks so much for coming to PA :)
      For God’s Glory
      ~Abby

    20. Cierra Says:

I hope I can go to the Baton Rouge one!! I would really like to see live what you guys have planned for this movement!
I’m so sad I feel like I just woke up to all this just in time to see this chapter of the Rebelution come to an end :’(

    21. Grace Says:

I wish I could go! God Bless!

    22. LindsayKS Says:

AH!!! Indianapolis!!! HALLELUJAH!!! I am stoked!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
(After going to the original Indy conference, I have to admit that I’ve often wondered where all the Rebelutionaries from Indiana went. Can’t wait to find out.)

    23. Joshua Golden Says:

Man, I have been so inspired by your books, and I was hoping you’d do one near Dallas,Texas. Oh well, I’m glad that you can impact many people. Thanks for all you guys do!

    24. Hunter Barber Says:

Thanks for the inspiration and witness that y’all have been just by obeying our God. It truly has helped me do hard things for Jesus. I hope that y’all find God’s will for the rest of you lives. Your Brother in Christ, Hunter.

    25. alren Says:

No plans doing the conference in the Philippines?

    26. Kaitland Christina Says:

Wow, it looks like this will be a great tour! I am happy to say it will be very likely I can attend my first (and maybe last) conference this year, as you guys are coming to Orlando! :D And right after your brother’s conference, too. ;)

I am praying for you guys as you embark on yet another tour, and I am so thankful and privileged to be blessed by your ministry!

      ~Kaitland Christina

    27. Katie R. Says:

I love the scripture that Mark Hutchins quoted above: “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1) The end of the tour, whether this year or later is bittersweet. You guys have dedicated your teenage years to the Lord and He has blessed them greatly; He used you to start a movement across the globe! But you’re not teens anymore, and there is no need to perpetuate that stage in your life. God still has hard things - wonderful things- in store for you, I know. But they’re different than what He had planned for your teenage/young adulthood. You have a new adventure to embark upon! =) I pray God blesses you as you transition into new ministry opportunities. And I pray I’m able to make it to one of your conferences this year! ;)

    28. Abby T. Says:

Orlando! Yay!!! I’ve been waiting for one to come to Florida for about three years… this is so exciting! :D

    32. Jessica McKinney Says:

Wish ya’ll were heading back to Colorado again! But, I know God’s going to use you to change lives in other towns. :)

    33. Natalie Wickham Says:

How thrilling that you all have KC on your tour schedule this year! Hoping that it will work to attend and bring my brother and sisters with me. We have all benefited greatly from your ministry and would love to hear and meet you in person!

    35. Gabe Says:

Awsome! Your coming to Kansas City! Can’t wait for it! Reading your book, and loving it!

Is there any cost to the conference and how much if there.. I’m trying to nail down a cost of how much it would be to go from loganville ga to baton rouge…. I want to come so badly!!!

    37. Andie Says:

Was hoping you guys would come to Australia :( Ahh well :D Glad that your still working hard.

    43. Travis Says:

I think what you guys are doing is amazing and I believe Gods hand is on what your doing. I think this movement you are doing is great and I believe it really shouldn’t stop (unless God wants it to) but have you considered getting interns? Mabe you guys are moving into a new season of your life but you could pass on this movement to a group of people you train up to do conferences. Just a thought. Godbless you all.

I was looking at the list of dates and locations, thinking that maybe I could persuade my Dad into thinking that Orlando is really not that far. When I read Kansas City I was like, “ya right!” Then I got to the last location!!!! :) (that smile face does not even come close to mine!) Thank you God! I’ll be there!

Once again, thank you for writing the book. I can just read some five or ten pages out of it, and I feel like I’m being inspired once again by a close friend. Hi Brett and Alex,

I went to the conference and it was awesome! And I have a couple of questions …

1.-are you coming to the 2012 CHEA?
2.-when u asked us to stand and say “Jesus Christ is Lord” did u mean for those who were already saved to stand or for those who just received him as savior?

Thank You and keep doing what u do, God Bless

      Love,
      Stephanie
