Praise God for such a blessing! Growing Kids God’s Way is such a phenomenal way to pick out of the bible how God intended for us as parents to raise our children. I highly recommend it…. Thank God, it is all there in the Good Book! It is just sometimes, after sleepless nights and constant crying, it is hard to find and apply it! So preparedness is always good! We will be praying for you and this beautiful new baby!

I can only imagine the things she’ll accomplish with the guidance of her wonderful parents!
I can still remember hearing about the Rebelution for the first time at the 2009 Bible Bee and how much it impacted me. I went to your conference in Williamsport over the summer, and it was incredibly eye opening. You have played such an important role in my life, along with all the other rebelutionaries out there, so seeing this blessing is so great. Love the verse you posted, it’s definitely true.

I think there is almost something sacred about a new baby being born into a family. I have only felt a glimpse of this as a sibling watching our family welcome each new baby, and I’ve been reminded of it even more strongly with my newest little sister who is now 2 months. She was born with CHARGE syndrome: a throat that doesn’t work, legally blind, partially deaf, and entirely perfect. Doctors and others would say how it was just an accident and feel sorry for us. But I have never known more clearly than I do now how perfect God’s plans are. He put Helena Grace in our family for a reason and it has only shown us more than ever how gracious He is to both us and her. It’s really beyond words…just the peace and love that seems to overflow.
As new parents I can only imagine that you’re both overwhelmed with smiles and a feeling of “Wow! A baby! I mean, a BABY!!!!” Because children truly are a blessing from God. Even the sleepless nights don’t seem so bad in the end. Rather be sleepless and cuddling a precious bundle than not!
Especially at Christmas time, it sheds a whole new light on God becoming man. But first, God becoming baby. Talk about miraculous.

Wow. I first heard about the Rebelution at the 2009 Bible Bee. Since then my brother and I have read Do Hard Things (and Boy Meets Girl) and followed your blog. We’ve truly been inspired by your whole family.
I cried when I saw the pictures. I know God is at work in your lives, and how precious to see your family growing. I thank Jesus for your precious hearts for Him. What wonders He can do through willing servants!
