Two years ago we wrote Do Hard Things. It was a hardcover, non-fiction book for teens -- a genre about as popular as foreign language algebra textbooks. Conventional wisdom would have said we'd be lucky if a few teens bothered to pick it up -- let alone read it.
But Do Hard Things was our hearts' cry. It was our humble attempt to put into words the message of a powerful work God is doing in the hearts of young people around the world. Our hope was that God would use it as a tool to remind a generation of timeless truth about the teen years -- and life. In God's goodness, He has.
In two years, thousands and thousands of teens have read Do Hard Things. Far more importantly, many of them have put its message into practice -- rebelling against low expectations and doing hard things to impact the world around them.

It would be easy (and understandable) for you to view this as very self-serving on our part. After all, we're the authors and we're asking you to buy copies of our book! That is not our intention. Our motivation for the book bomb is the same one that drove us to write the book: to spread a message and equip our generation.
We want our generation to break free from low expectations, do hard things, and change the world for Christ -- and we know that is your heart's cry as well.
