1) SPREAD THE CONFERENCE PROMO VIDEO
Use the YouTube version of the 2011 promo video to spread the word on Facebook, Twitter, blogs and more. Download the hi-res version to play at schools, churches, and groups. Or download the iPhone/iPod version to share with friends!
2) USE YOUR EMAIL AND PHONE BOOK
Come up with a list of the people you think would be interested in this message and conference and then let them all know about it with a click of your mouse. You might email five friends, you might email a hundred. Everything makes a difference.
Also, remember that it's not just how many people you contact, but who you contact. If you email or call your pastor, youth pastor, or favorite ministry and let them know about the Do Hard Things Tour, you might end up being responsible for dozens, or even hundreds of people hearing about this life-changing conference. [Note: See bottom of page for sample email blast text.]
3) HAND OUT CONFERENCE BROCHURES & FLIERS
When you tell someone about the Do Hard Things Tour it's nice to have something to hand them. Enter the conference brochure. Our beautiful glossy brochure tells people everything they need to know (or reminds them of what you told them). Just visit our online store to order however many you want (everything is free -- even shipping). We'll get them to you pronto.
In the meantime, download our PDF flier. It can be printed out at home or at your local Kinkos. Perfect for posting on bulletin boards or for direct (mass) distribution the conference flier looks good black-and-white or full-color -- it all depends on the occasion.
SAMPLE EMAIL BLAST
This email is incredibly simple. You can probably write something better and you are welcome to do so. But that's the point. We want you to see that even a hastily written email is enough. Don't put off sending an email blast because you're not sure what to say! Let people know you're excited and always include a link to the conference page of our website.
We're excited about the Do Hard Things Tour (http://www.therebelution.com/conference) a one-day Christian teen conference that's coming to [INSERT LOCATION & DATE]! Our family is attending and would love to have you join us.
Visit their website and let us know what you think. The Rebelution is defined as "a teenage rebellion against the low expectations." Both parents and teens need to hear this message!
