Hi, this is Joel Harris, Alex and Brett's older brother, and the worship leader for the Do Hard Things Tour. I'm 24 years old and live near Portland, Oregon, with my lovely wife, Kimberly, and a 1 1/2 year old daughter, Elena Belle. My music studio, Northwest Worship Academy, provides lessons (piano, guitar, drums and bass) to over 80 students in the Portland area. I also serve as a worship leader at Household of Faith Community Church, and am planning to attend Bible college in the fall of 2008.

For anyone involved in worship ministry, I highly recommend Bob Kauflin's new book, Worship Matters. You can get a free sample of the first 2 chapters of the book from the Sovereign Grace Ministries' website. Bob Kauflin is the worship leader at Covenant Life Church, the director of worship development for Sovereign Grace Ministries, and has greatly influenced and shaped my understanding of worship. His excellent blog for worship leaders is also called Worship Matters.
